hi all, have just checked the address of the third part supplied by GE Money and its:-

    Active Mortgage Management PLC
    Springfield House
    Wilmslow
    Cheshire
    SK9 5BA

Sadly there is no company number so I assume I need to go straight to the ombudsman?
Hi there, if they have directed you to fscs, give them a ring in the morning and see if this co have gone into liquidation, if they have the fscs will send you a claim form for your redress from fscs.If they have not gone into liquidation i would give them a couple of weeks to reply to ge money from the letter they have sent, then go to fos.x

According to this, they went in deafault lan 2011!! think they mean 2010.
if this is the case then ring fscs and make a claim.

    Hi there

Are these still running or dissolved?

just double checking, if not you can try as amersall also says to make the claim from the financial compensation scheme (FSCS)

So please remind us to save going back on previous posts, how far have you gone with this?

    Cheers.;)

    Hiya

Do you still have running accounts with them?
For instance if you bank with them you can check statements going back for the last 6-7 years, and if you bank online you can check these straight away.

Or another way to request for the statements, where you will be sent other data held on the account the same time is to request a Subject access request (SAR).
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1475553
You enclose £10 cheque or postal order for this request, but if you just request for the statements alone, I am aware you may have to pay out more, this way is probably the best way cos you will receive as stated everything else they still hold on the accounts too.;)

For just the loan credit agreement, its just £1 cheque or postal order, and they have 12-14 days to comply.
The details of the loan and ppi are shown on the agreement.

I was on a Trust Deed it has finished in June of this year and In august I received a letter from my Deed people to say that they were sending a Financial guy to come and speak to my husband and I so that they could claim back the PPI from our creditors and put the monies back against the Trust Deed. Now I have to wait until this is complete before the Trust Deed will issue the certificate that it has been completed. Hope this helps

this is an increasing trend by some insolvency practitioners who are only concerened with lining their own pockets. its a shameful practice for them to continue your trust deed term past 3 years. if you have fully abided by your trust deed conditions then you should be given your discharge certificate when the the 3 years end. if i were you i would ask them which regulation or clause in the original trust deed gives them power to extend it beyond the 3 years and also threaten to report their practice to their professional body or the AIB. if you do not get any joy just tell them that you were not mis-sold any ppi as they need YOUR permission to act on your behalf this puts a stop to this nonsense immediately. as for your current claim against fp if they were not one of your trust deed creditors then as your 3 year trust deed has finished then i do not think you need to inform them.

I have no idea of account numbers. How are you proceeding with the claim if they didnt give you any information?

Thanks all, very helpful people in this forum cheers guys  and diolch for u welshies[/QUOTE]

as i said i did find the last 4 digits of my card so wrote my first claim letter with the account number **** **** **** 6109. when they replied my full credit card number came through on their letter! surely you must be able to find or order an old bank statement which shows a payment you made to them this will only show you the last 4 digits the same as mine.
i am now sending them a £10 chq asking for an SAR - not sure it will get me anywhere but worth a try
