Hi there, you could take out the 48 month loan this will reduce your monthly payment (by the way, does it reduce your payment?) then put your claim in.When you put your claim in it is not worth putting about the new loan offers, as this is what they have to do to take off the ppi.Put your claim in and keep us posted.x
thanks for the advice. I'll call them back and get then to send out a 48 month agreement after the next payment.
Cheers!

Hi there
Whoever arranged and set up your policy are the ones responsible, but please do you think you could post up the name of the company they have confirmed as dissolved, so we could try checking this out?
Thanks.
If the company are listed with the financial compensation scheme (FSCS) you should be able to make the claim from them, all you do is contact them first to rule this out, ask if that actual company are listed with them, and if your eligible, they will arrange to send you a claim form through the post.

Many of us have had to go the above direction to make our claims, because of the responsible business gone down under.
However, if they are not listed with them, I would therefore contact the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) and ask for any suggestions, they sometimes suggest in these cases (especially if the FSCS are not dealing with them) to go the underwriter/insurer direction.

But do contact the FSCS first, and if you know the name of the broker who supposed to have sold you this policy, please post the name of them up, thank you and good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi there,
Has anyone in this thread been mis-sold PPI on a personal loan by The Funding Corporation and if you have do you have their complaint department address. I have just found out that I was mis-sold PPI by them and I want to reclaim the charges.0 -
Hi there, and i am glad your trust deed is at an end x.Will this financial guy want fees for claiming this back for you? if they are then i think this is out of order, your debt will not decrease by the whole ppi as it should but they will take a chunk.I am just expressing my opinion on this as i think it is unfair, when you can claim it your self for the price of a couple of stamps. And decrease the debt even further for you.
Amersall, thanx apparently the financial guy is going to claim his fees from the trust deed accountant and we will have no more to pay to the trust deed/accountant . We thought we would have had the chance to get the monies but hey ho.0 -

Hi there,
Is there anyone here with any experience dealing with The Funding Corporation personal loan mis-sold PPI. In February 2004, I phoned Funding Corporation for a personal loan and was approved straight away. I was told that the credit agreement was to be couried to my home for me to sign the following day, so the biker (courier) turned up at my home with the documents and stood there while I signed it and then took it back. I had no time to read the document at the time. Recently having read from Martin's newsletter, I asked them for a copy of my agreement which I received yesterday. They charged me PPI - £2,884.40, Loan £6,000 and interest £2,487.60 Total=11,352.00. I settled this loan on 30/6/2004 - I paid £9,252.73. I believe I stand a chance to claim PPI since I was not aware it was included in my loan. The loan was supposed to paid in 62 months. The APR 9.9% - can anyone here advise me on how to deal with them - complain - who to contact/address etc.0
