    Hi there,

Has anyone in this thread been mis-sold PPI on a personal loan by The Funding Corporation and if you have do you have their complaint department address. I have just found out that I was mis-sold PPI by them and I want to reclaim the charges.

    Hello there
I am sure I have read a few that are making reclaims against these.

Hopefully someone will be able to confirm if this is the correct address below...

    Name & Registered Office:
    THE FUNDING CORPORATION LIMITED
    I M HOUSE
    SOUTH DRIVE
    COLESHILL
    WEST MIDLANDS
    B46 1DF
    Company No. 04055624

    spacer.gifspacer.gifspacer.gifspacer.gifStatus: Active

Or if you ring the financial ombudsman service, they should have the details of the address for you, if you want to double check.

    http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/contact/index.html

More on reclaiming here with a questionnaire to send to the business who mis sold you the policy, keep a copy for yourself as well - in case you need to refer to it at some point.

They have 8 weeks, but may request for more time which is okay, just as long as they keep you informed.

    Good luck.

    Hi there

    Another from Wales then?:D

Right, do you still have hold of any monthly statements?

The account numbers will be shown on them, or if you have the credit card still hanging around, they will be shown on them too.

But you could give it a go if mis sold the ppi if you just have hold of the account numbers.

Otherwise you could request for the cheapest way, for copies of your agreeements by giving them as much info/details as possible, full name, any address you had whilst taken them out, your date of birth, oh and any changes to your surname.
For this you just write a simple letter, enclose £1 cheque or postal order for each one, and ask they supply by 12-14 days.
However, they don't always supply these if the accounts have been settled.

The only other way to retrieve your data is to request a Subject access request (SAR), this you have to enclose £10 cheque or postal order, and they have 40 calendar days to comply and send all they still hold on the account(s), if they are unable to comply to the SAR, they must write to let you know and return your payment.
There is a SAR template letter here:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1475553

More on reclaiming here, with stage one reclaiming questionnaire, which replaced the reclaiming template letter:

Hope this helps, any further help just give a yell, good luck.;)

  • I contacted a Solicitor 18 months ago regarding my ill father being missold a PPI as he was self employed. We are now on our third solicitor as it has been passed over. We are still no closer to the end and I can not understand why it is taking so long what course of action should I now take to get this resolved?
  • Bikes - Can you try doing it using the guide and martins templates? if you have details and stuff?

    Hiya

As long as there is an loan account number that is fine.

If your boyfriend requires just the agreement, just write a simple letter, enclose £1 cheque or postal order, ask that they supply by 12-14 days.;)

The loan agreement will give details of the ppi.

Oh......I have also left you a post on your other thread LOL, good luck X
