    Hi to all,
My letter from the FOS was sent to Lloyds on the 28th July and they have given Lloyds 4 weeks from that date to contact me directly in order to finalise the matter.
The 4 weeks is up this Wednesday, 25th August, and not a word from them yet.
I have sent them 2 letters and sent them 5 emails, including copying Eric Daniels in. I have spoken to the credit card customer care and they can only tell me that the notes on the system confirm my signed receipt on the 29th July and that it is with the customer concerns team. The email I sent last week has also threatened them will FSA intervention.
    Couple of questions........
    1. What are the FOS likely to do if I dont hear from Lloyds by Wednesday.
    2. Am I able to take any legal action against Lloyds as they are not adhering to a legally binding decision by the FOS.
We are one month away from it being 3 years since I first complained to Lloyds, they ignored the adjudicator decision in my favour and are now failing to correspond with me.
I am getting extrememly p***ed off

    Hi Bugsy, hope your well.

With one of ours that had taken longer than stated, this was also in regards of a credit card ppi,(my hubby's), so after all the emails/phone calls he told them that he was to contact the FSA, he did this and they did state something about contacting them, whether or not they did we do not know, but suddenly within a few days hubby received his money.;)

    Thanks Di,

I am well thank you, a little frustrated, but to be expected with Lloyds.
I am trying to get through to the FOS to see what they intend to do if I havent heard from Lloyds by Wednesday and I am also waiting for a call back from the FSA.:o

    Your welcome bugsy.:A

Yeah I know what they are like!!!.
You have to keep on at them, they are quick enough selling policies and taking the money for them, but when the shoe is on the other foot you have to fight to get your very own money back.

Please let us know how you get on, fingers crossed X;):)

Just spoken to the FOS and they are going to contact Lloyds to find out where they are at with my redress and call me back tomorrow morning. They are also going to see if the FSA will be able to lean on Lloyds also.
I suppose one good thing to come from it is that each day that goes by is more interest to be added on to what they owe me :)

    Hello,

This is my first post, Im looking for some advise and I have had a look through some post on here and Im sorry if I am repeating questions

We have two loans with Lloyds one in 2004 and one in 2005. We believe we were mis sold PPI on both of these loans.

Using the templates I found on MSE I went into the branch in the town (not my personal branch that is 4 miles away) and asked about who I should address the letters to and was told to my branch. We did this and heard nothing in over a month.

We called and was pushed arounf between several depts all of whom knew nothing of the letter! Finally after about an hour on the phone we were told that any post addressed directly to a branch but without a personal contact name would not be delivered and who just be sent to a holding depot then destroyed!

So early June I hand delivered both claim forms addressed to the manager of our branch with a covering letter explaning the above! About a week later we had a call to say that it was being looked into and this was based on only 1 loan which the original letter was about (second letter was claiming for both loans as 1st letter was only claiming for the loan we had already paid off) This in itself is very frustrationg at we had been told that the first letter would never had been delivered!

Now my question is what it the best form of action to take now? It has been over 8 weeks since we had the phone call letiing us it would be looked into.

One of the loans has been paid off before we made the claim and one is still running, we had never defaulted on either loan and the total PPI comes to over £6000

I just feel that we are being pushed from pillar to post and we are not been told the truth at all

    Thanks

    Mad at Lloyds!!!!

Following on from my first post, I have contacted Lloyds customer care in Wales on 0845 3005599 and was told that no my branch had not forwarded on my ppi claim that was hand delivered to my branch on June 11th 2010, very un helpful person that was trying to engage with me why I was claiming in the first place.

I asked for a direct number for my branch which he gave me and guess what ot was wrong! Finally after two more calls I was "allowed" to have the direct number for my branch to try to find out what was happening with my claim.

I was not able to speak with my bank manager as she was not there but I was asked alot of questions and each time put on hold as if my reponse was being relaid to a third person. I was told that my bank manager would get back to me and when I asked when I was told once she had had the time to investigate the matter.

They have had the letter since June 11th! In fact my first contact was 13th April 2010.

I seems that they have not even looked into it at all, so I have emailed customer care and Eric Daniels. I will also registered post a copy of my claim to customer care and I think its time to get the FOS involved.

Lloyds are just ignoring me and its getting very frustrating. Im sure its just tactics to get me to give up and at times Im thinking I might, nut its is such a large sum of money that if I am successful I will be in no debt at all plus some spare!

Rant over this is making me so cross!

    Thanks for listening
