  • hi,

when you accept an offer from Lloyds what they will do is write to you with a full breakdown of what they will refund you,

Lloyds seem to have go thtier act together now, although you will be waiting apporx 42 working days, 21 to send the details of the offer, and then a further 21 to receive the payment.

let us know how you get on

I have sent off the acceptance letters to LTSB just waiting for their letter back. The Fos kept phoning and phoning me to ask if I had heard anything from LTSB, even though I told him each time that I had and was waiting for LTSB to get back to me.

    Hi Di,

Do you have the address to write to Eric Daniels. I believe it is the 25, Gresham Street, London, EC2V 7HN, but wanted to check with you.

The 4 weeks runs out tomorrow with Lloyds and not heard a squeak from them. I phoned the FOS yesterday and they told me they will try and get an update from Lloyds and will phone me back today.

I have contacted the FSA for advice and am waiting a call back from them also.

I have also prepared an email and letter to go to Eric Daniels directly, although he has been copied in on all my previous emails, which will be sent if I receive nothing in the post today or tomorrow.

    Hi Bugsy

Yes that is the address we used as well, and as you know, post it by recorded/signed for delivery - so you can check the status of this.

I think its a good idea to send by hardcopy post, we done this too.

Hope the FSA get back to you today, if you hear, please let us know what they say, cheers and good luck.;)X

    Big time data loss

Most probably up for sale on some dodgy website.

If you mean the 8% statutory interest then mostly FOS will see to that one although i would check by asking the adjudicator.

    Well done
  • Hi All.
I wonder if anyone can offer me some guidance. We are in the process of closing off a mortgage with the Halifax. We are subject to an early payment redemption penalty
(more fool us for taking out a fixed rate with penalties - when you are desperate to re-mortgage you dont always look at the small print)
Having reviewed our loan agreement and all the charges on it I noticed a TMPP premium which amounted to 1/6th of the monthly motgage cost £56.00/mth.
Now - My question is Is this the same as PPI ? Having looked at the misselling questions in the PPI reclaiming guide it seems as though we were sold a product which we didint need.
I am not clear on whether or not we can pursue this as I have read elsewhere in the forums that MPPI or TMPP is not covered by the same legislation as PPI and that it can be difficult if not impossible to reclaim as the sellers qualification questions invalidate any possibility of the buyer saying it was missold.
Would appreciate any guidance or help with this
    Thanks
    Kind Regards to you all

I would so as Marshallka suggests, make sure with the FOS on the interest, I think it should all be okay though, good one.;)

    Hi Prefab and welcome.

If you can, try to post about this one on a separate thread, stay within the PPI threads, but you can start your own.

Subject it as "Mortgage PPI help"
Then Dunstonh will not miss this one then, good luck with this.;)
