I'm a little bit confused as to whether I am able to claim for insurance taken out on a Tesco credit card, Capital One credit card and HSBC loan, I am now dealing with Payplan making reduced payments on all the cards and HSBC have now changed the loan to a Managed Loan account. As I have broken the terms of the original agreement am I able to claim back the insurance I had previously paid on them as its no longer valid?
    Thanks

    Hi there
To what I know of, if you believe you were mis sold on any of the above, you should have the right to reclaim on the PPI, your circumstances should not make any difference.;)

I take it you are still fighting this Firstplus thing. I told you I tried with them all that you are now trying through the Ombudsman and each was turned down. Just waiting for my final response from Lloyds of London. May give them a call today.

    Hope its good news.;)

    Hi Rosemahairy.

That sounds about right I have some going back to January. One is meant to be with an adjudicator the other has not even been assigned one yet.

Its shocking eh. I made inquiries about complaining about the wait but got nowhere. Basically everyone needs to prepare for a 12month wait with the FO from the date of being assigned a case number. RBS i feel are an exception though, speaking from my own experience they will not cave one on one but upon receipt of a letter from the FO informing them they will be dealing with it they cave and pay up. My advise to anyone wanting ppi back from RBS is just give it the 8weeks or final response and then get it into the FO. Tell ya what else suprised me i thought that the wait with creditors already fined like HFC bank would be better but its not, they should be prioritised as they are known offenders. HFC even though fined for being conning barstewards get to sit a further 12months with my money in their back pocket......if anyone finds a way to complain about FO waiting lists let me know

Yes you can. I too am on a debt management programme (reduced pyts) Its just the same you have a right to claim if you feel you were miss sold. I had success with th Aqua credit card. I did struggle with Capital one though.... still on going

I quite agree with that one I think Known offenders should be quicker off the mark. Can they be fined twice?:rotfl: I think the FOS word sometimes works but with mine it made no difference at all. Am still hanging round waiting. But hey Ho never mind. Can wait around we you lovely people:rotfl::T

He Dreamer Fab seeing you back.
