Hi Max
Yes they basically said that I didnt "fit in" I said that it was not a good enough reason and it had been a terrible few months for me I left a job in a high position where I had been for 6 years to go there as they poached me and the day I start is they day I find out they are making 650 people redundnat can you imagine the situation and atmosphere? Most horrible
As I had only been there 5months they didnt owe me anything but as I was ahard worked they agreed to pay me 2 months salary and bonus I left on okay terms but my point is I told the job centre and PPI that I was made redundant and my emplyer wont put that on my forms they will put I didnt pass my probation0 -
Right firstly, As far as I am aware although I am no expert. Why would it matter why you left. You were not sacked. You did not do anything illegal. As far as I understand they terminated your employment.
There could be a clause in the terms and conditions similar to this
What is not covered?
We will not pay benefit for unemployment that occurs under any of the following circumstances:
- where you knew you were going to be made unemployed, or you had reason to believe that it was likely to happen, at the start date; or
- where you have not been in continuous work for 6 months with one or more employers immediately before your employment ended (if you were not working for 2 weeks or less, we will not count this as a break in your employment);0 -

Well they will wiggle out with that one then if the above is similar.:mad:0 -
Suckers, just been looking back over your posts. Are you pregnant at the moment? Just you said about the stress would cause you a miscarriage..
I think you need the Citizens Advice and quick0 -
I am pregnant yes coming up to 12 weeks now I have been worrying and fretting so much over this PPI thing that I thought I might give myself a miscarriage but I think I am nearly out of the woods now! Saying that I feel like !!!!! today this morning sickness is all day sickness
Okay so I wasnt made redundant but I told job centre and PPI that I was made redundant when they send the forms Job Centre will back this up but my old employer wont
I feel like just cancelling the direct debit again and writing a letter to re-claim the £90 a month I have been paying as 1) I didnt realise they would only pay out up to 12 months and b) I have ben paying £90 a month when I rang before for a quote I was quoted £25 a month!!0 -

Sucker do you have the limitations to the Insurance. Are they the same as Marshallka has printed above. Could you ask very nicely your ex employer to put on the FORM that you were made redundant. Perhaps explain to the Job Centre as it looks as if they got rid of you not because of your work performance but because they were going to get rid of you anyway. They would not have been allowed to take you on contract to fill a position that they had made somebody redundant from. Do you see my point it is a technicality.
Ring Citizens Advice I think you should be able to get some help with this.
I am sure if must have been horrid for you. Especially as you were head hunted and then to leave a permanent position to start there when they made so many redundant. I really hope you get this sorted. Please try Citizens advice.:mad:0 -

Main thing you should be doing is taking it easy so perhaps a trip to Citizens advice or like I say, your old employer. The BP won't be helped with all this and that matters to both you and the baby.0 -
I dont think my old employer would so that - what do you see when you look up....well they are one of the biggest companies I dont think they would lie0
