Very nice!! Thanks Di x0

Honestly, that so annoys me so much, its obvious to them that the policy is worthless to you.
Did you inform them that you don't believe they actually investigated your complaint properly?
They are all for their own ends and not the customers.
Good luck Sylvia, please keep us posted.;)
Couldnt agree more Di.
When Lloyds looked at my complaint they told me that I took out my PPI after they had improved the quality of their sales process in 2005 so I was fully protected for the cover I needed. Therefore complaint not upheld.
I told them that I was glad to hear that they had improved their process as there was obviously a problem with it before 2005. The only thing was.......................I was sold the PPI cover in 1987!!
They eventually wrote back to me 2 months later, apologising, saying that they had found the original paperwork and I had been covered since 1987, but my complaint was still not upheld.
Just goes to show that they do not fully investigate and do not care about the customer.
1009 days since complained to LLoyds!
909 days since my complaint arrived at the FOS!0 -
Right I have a question for anyone who may know.
Lloyds have agreed to repay me some dosh which it was worked out as the best part of £6k. As they are now saying they will refund all 4 together, its 21 working days(odd) from last friday. Even though the firs t 2 slips went back a month ago.
As of today I have defaulted a credit card also with them for £150 arrears and a balance of £2700.
I just wondered what is likely to happen with my rebate?, I understand they can help themselves to arrears so I can probably wave goodbye to the £150 but am I right in thinking that to take the full £2700 that they would have to terminate the account first?
They have admitted liability on all 4 so imo thats my money regardless, had they not screwed me over i'd be £3000 up with them.
Has anyone been in a similar position?. tbh this money is being used to pay debts and there are incidently a good amount to claim on the card aswell so its not the end of the world, I guess i'd just like the money in my account.0 -
Hi again, now i have calmed down a bit and re read my lettter from Alliance and leicster i noticed i have only been paid out on one account. When i wrote my letter i put down two accounts that i had been missold ppi on.The one they have paid out on is the most recent one which ended in 2004.My question do you thiink i will hear about the other account or should i have written about them seperately and should i phone up tomorrow and enquire about it or do you think because that one ended in 2000 im not getting it.Sorry about this but another question when u are getting paid back on a ccc do the take the interest from the time the card was taken out or just on the last 6 years.TIA everyone xx:rolleyes: Jan grocery challenge £300/£210 spent so far.I can do this:T0

Hi there
If there is actually arrears on the account where you made a reclaim, I think they can refund the amount towards the debt, anything remaining should be refunded directly to you, plus the interest.
I am not aware of anything else though.
Well done on your success.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Trish
I would contact them direct to ask about this, they will confirm if they are still dealing with the other, but if they say no, I would then get the questionnaire off to them.;)

You can write a letter to make a reclaim if you want to or use the recently issued questionnaires by the FOS, on above link "stage one".
For every account its normally a separate complaint, although I assume you did write both account numbers for each one on your complaint?
I would definatey make sure on this with them first though.:)
Good luck.

Hi trish
I agree its best to chase them up, in case they are still dealing with it, it will save you having to go through it all again.;)
My hubby was successful this year on his settled credit card ppi - which was taken out in 2001, go for it.:TThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0
