Hi, your very welcome.
And Migraine disappeared for now, thank you.:T
I do think you have a good case here, and I don't blame you, its your money they have deprived you off.
However, I have found some info here on the Lloyds link of Credit Card PPI, of what it protects and so on if you want to check this out, I assume they would all be the same policy.

But remember you have a good case anyway, so go for it and keep at them.
Please keep us posted honey, fingers crossed for you.:AXX
Hi Di,
Am labouring away on this today as planned! Am writing a letter to send to Lloyds recorded delivery to request the PPI booklet/policy document, as their online stuff covers PPI taken out from April 2009. Having looked further into mine in the 'payment protection cover policy summary', which is just a few printed sheets, it shows I was only covered for hospitalisation and life claims.
After reading all the posts and links, I am going to give this a try. I've calculated what PPI payments have been applied to the account (I always keep statements etc which is very handy!) and taken plenty of notes to put together in my letter once I get my copy of the policy document.
Thanks again for all the info, help and advice, I hope to have some good news soon! :beer:I've got nothing else but I've got my family.

Hi there
And good for you, well done.:T

I havent yet
1st day back at work after a week off, still getting used to that!! LOL
I will do though x What shall I say to them? Im a bit daft sometimes0 -
and yes it was 2 months x0
-
LOL., of course your not daft lmao :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, don't worry.
Just ring the general query line, explain your situation that you received no PPI rebate when settling your loan just after 2 months and you also believe you were mis sold the policy.
Ask if they would know if the broker is still active (so this can be ruled out by them), and if they say yes, ask if it will be worth then pursuing the insurer instead, because you were out of pocket due to this.;)

Good luck. :DXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Sent a letter to LloydsTSB on 17th June after they turned down my claim for PPI reclaim. I asked them to look at my case again. I gave them 14 days to reply. I have heard nothing. So do I give them a ring or should I just go to the FOS.0

I contacted my loan company to complain about ppi misselling and was fobbed off initially. After my second letter they informed me that the ppi could be removed and previously paid premiums were deducted from the outstanding loan but they refinanced the loan and gave me a much higher rate of interest so my monthly repayments are also higher. This was over a year ago but I had too much going on in other areas of my life to follow it up. I was just wondering if there is anything I can do now?0

Hi Sylvia
Please remind us, was that the final decision they made before you wrote back to ask them to reconsider?
You could email customer services and they will be able to confirm if they are re looking or not, then if you hear nothing by the end of the week, yes complain to the FOS.
I would also copy (CC) your email to the Chief Executive officer (CEO) as well.
