    aaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Monument - asked for ppi back, they offered £300 odd quid I refused and sent SAR to them, I received SAR and full info regarding ppi charges and wrote back wanting full amount of £757 or would go to FOS, had a letter today to say that even though they acted responsibily and accept no liability but to resolve this dispute they will offer me £1252 which includes interest!!!!  :j :rotfl: :T

Halifax ppi on 3 loans - wrote template letter for OH being self employed in December 08, had 2 letters from then saying still dealing with issue, letter today stating ppi might not have been appropriate for you and UPHOLDING the complaint for all 3 loans. Will write again shortly with full details and exact amounts to be paid back!!!  :j :rotfl: :T

    Hi Sharibe,
You have received the standard fob off replies, so chin up hun, there is a way to go on these yet.

Now if they have mentioned the FOS, I would go to them now if you want to go this direction, my case was about LLoyds as well and so far everyone else who have had complaints against them have had the same response as both you and me, so try not to worry.

You can either download the FOS complaints form on the FOS site or ring them, I would also take a photocopy when completed and send one to LLoyds as well to let them know its now with the FOS, (it may even give them the change of heart) if so then just let the FOS know, good luck hunni and chin up.;)

    Thanks Di hon...
I forgot to add that on the one and only Personal Summary and Our Recommendation sheets relating to the loan taken out on the 5th May 05(enclosed). It states on this summary that unemployment cover would not be in place at present due to redundancy being possible (which it was at the time and I was actually made redundant in Mar 06).

Also, can you advise me on what I should put in the bit on the FOS form which says any other details which will understand us with your complaint?

Is this the bit that can take some time Di?

    Thanks again hon,

    Hi Sharibe

    Not a problem.

I would firstly get some photocopies done of the letters you have received from LLoyds, especially the final response, and any copies of the letters you sent to Loyds, if you still have these, the FOS will take a look at them to understand your complaint.

That part of the form is if you want to write further information on your complaint to make them fully understand or to support your case more, so what you have wrote on your letters to lloyds, especially the one with further information, explain in details about your reasons for complaint were for them to take this into consideration in your favour.

Does this help at all hun?, you will be okay.;)

Yes it does thanks Di. I have nearly finished the form:-)) Do I need to phone them to ask them to take on my case?

    Good.;)

No hun you do not, they will send you a confirmation letter withinapprox 2-3 weeks, then they will let you know they will send further updates as your case is moved on to an adjudicator.

Anything you enclose in copies, ensure you add your account number details to every one of them.;)

(sorry for not getting back to you quicker, my puter is playing up being slow again) lol.:D

  • Hi pinknico. Was just wondering how much effort it took as I sent my first letter about 2 weeks ago, were they quick to respond to you?
