Hi, thank you so much for your help my husband got £1,418.15 from HSBC, for a loan between 2006 and 2009, before that he had a loan with them between 2204 and 2006, do you think I would stand a chance of reclaiming that ppi?
Cheers Ann0 -
Sorry meant 2004 and 2006, got a bit ahead of myself

Hi,
I'm sorry if this has already been asked but I cant face reading through thousands of pages!!
I have a loan with Welcome Finance, I took out PPI and it was signed for by me, however I was told I couldnt get the loan without it - which I believe means its been missold? However, how do you prove this?? If there is a document which I have signed agreeing to the PPI does this not mean that I wont be able to claim?
Thanks0 -

Hi all
Hope I'm not being thick(!) but have been lurking and reading for a while and it seems that things have changed............:o
Can someone please confirm that I have to fill in the questionnaire for reclaiming the PPI not just the first letter (that I had already dowloaded a couple of weeks ago in which I could delete the reasons as applicable) and send that to the company.
The letter certainly seemed straight forwardas opposed to the form.:(
Sorry again for sounding thick! and thanks for any help.0 -

Hi there
Of course your not thick, its a fair enough question and remember we all had to learn LOL.......:D.
Right the letter you sent to reclaim is correct, they now have 8 weeks to resolve in full, they should keep you updated on the progress of your complaint, and let you know if they require more time.
Some banks, although this can vary will send their own questionnaires, if they do this then many just ask them to refer back to the letter already send and to refer to the account from when it was sold to you.
Hope this helps, don't worry, you will soon get the hang of it, please keep us posted, good luck.:AThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I certainly hope so.;) Fingers crossed.
Well I've finally received a letter from them, dated a week ago, thanking me for the postal order and letting me know that they will send me my info by early May. The forty days they are allowed to respond to the data request, is it as they state "upon receipt of the fee" which they received on March 29th??
I guess I should just be happy I received a response!Total debt at lightbulb moment (Jan 2010): £23410
