    Hi Lucie
    Hope your well.

Your insurer details should be enclosed on the Policy details, if you write to the lender they should supply you with these details through the post, your entitled to request for a copy of the policy details at any time.

Sometimes these are not enclosed with the loan documents, even though your supplied with so much paperwork, but if your not sure on who the insurer is they should send this policy separately through the post - I believe by 14 days.;)

You then write to these the same way as you do the broker to reclaim, if they come back and say no, then the FOS is likely to be able to investigate because these would have been covered.

    Hope this helps hun.:)X
    thanks di

That does actually ring the bell.

Think lots on here have had to write to these if the insurer was Cassidy Davies, give it a go, good luck.;)

You know when filling in the questionnaire and you have to explain why you were missold, is there a best way to approach this question?

If you claim you were missold will they try to track down the employee and it'll be 'his word' against mine? I'm helping my mum try to reclaim from Northern Rock

    Hi there

These questionnaires are becoming popular with some banks, many call them a stalling tactic, but if you have also sent them a reclaim letter, you can write next to the answers in brackets (please refer to my letter you received dated XX/XX/XXXX).
And for any questions in relation to the sale of the policy write (please refer to my account - of when this was sold to me).

To what I know of many do this and they must still investigate by the 8 weeks they have.

So try not to worry, please keep us posted and good luck.;)

if you get an offer of good will of all premiums paid plus8% interest and a letter saying that if you still remain unhappy you can still take it to the fos, what is the point taking it to the fos if they have refunded all your payments plus 8%?

they have to give you the chance of going to the ombudsman, that i assume is standard. if you like the goodwill and its right then you dont. if you think they are pulling a fast one and your figures dont match what they are offering then again you go to fos
