    Hi everyone

I just wanted to give everyone an update on how where we are. On 16 Jan we recieved a huge amound of orders, it took us all quite by surprise. Due the the rise in order we were left with massive amounts of items being out stock, causing further delays in proccessing the orders. We are now just trying to get back on track, but unfortunately still trying to deal get through all the 16th orders.

We are still working round the clock to proccess all the orders. If anyone has any questions or complaints please dont hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for all the support and the patience.

hi are you going to have 'words' with DHL or shall we all bombard them with complaints...;)
They are truly shocking even though the parcels have clearly been well packed.

    Cheers!

Edit - Was going to PM you, but your inbox is full, so i thought i would post on here.

Your experience is the same as mine (ordered on 17th Jan, etc.) and presumably the same as for many others.
Although I understand the situation (as reported at this forum), I am still a little surprised by the lack of official communication direct to customers (e.g. email via Google Checkout) by Approved Foods, especially bearing in mind that Dan isn't able to live up to the commitment made in his post of 31st January to the 'old' (now 'closed') thread....
"I will update you via this thread as to where we are up to with the orders on a daily basis."
In response to my 'Status request' (sent via Google Checkout on 26th January) I was sent a reply on 26th January (8 days ago) that said "Your order should be shipped within the next couple of days."
I sent another 'Status request' yesterday (2nd February) and have yet to receive a reply.
    Hi,

I have been trying to reply to peoples status requests as they come in. Some emails were not recieved yesterday due to our inbox being full. A bit of an oversight on my part. Please could you email again and I will get back to you straight away.

  • Would it help if parcels where marked with fragile / fragile tape etc all around them? just a thought might help when it comes to Dhl handling the parcels - perhaps they would then take more care with them?
  • I ordered 2 parcels - the one for myself which goes to Ipswich was delivered this lunchtime the other for my mum arrived at manchester service centre at 2am and is still there, apparently delayed by bad weather which is quite funny as we had much more snow yesterday here than in Manchester. I think it depends on which service centre your parcel goes to as whether your service from DHL is good, i've never had a problem with Ipswich but the first one via Manchester and there's a problem.
  • My stuff comes via the Manchester service centre and while I would agree there aren't any weather problems here today there are parts of Manchester which have been quite badly affected, depends where about (in the Manchester vicinity) you are getting it delivered to I suppose.
