1. do you have to place the order online first, or can you just go and have a look round and get what you want when you are there? i will probably order online first anyway but do they tell you if they have any new stock that isnt online yet and let you buy it?
2. are children allowed in the warehouse? my son is 3 and will either just hold my hand or sit in his buggy, he definately wont be running around!
We just went to the warehouse without ordering first and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, pointing out things which were new and offering us tastes of all sorts of things. It is very small, though and got a bit crowded when a few other people came in so you might find it difficult to find space for a buggy. And, as others have said, it is very cold in there but well worth the trip.A [STRIKE]B[/STRIKE][STRIKE]C [/STRIKE]D E [STRIKE]F[/STRIKE]G H I J K L M N O P Q R S [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE]U V [STRIKE]W [/STRIKE]X Y Z0 -
My first order just arrived! I am really impressed, well packaged and looks great. I can't wait to start eating!
Lucky you!!! Just what it was like in our house, trouble is 20 bars of ballisto biscuits and 18 bags of Mcoys disappeared in a week  have ordered more and will be hiding it all so only i know where it is lol!!0 -
Ordered on 17th of Jan. Money debited on 17th Jan. Have heard nothing regarding my order - either from approved foods or dhl. No idea when delivery will be. Am disappointed with the service I've received.Your experience is the same as mine (ordered on 17th Jan, etc.) and presumably the same as for many others.Although I understand the situation (as reported at this forum), I am still a little surprised by the lack of official communication direct to customers (e.g. email via Google Checkout) by Approved Foods, especially bearing in mind that Dan isn't able to live up to the commitment made in his post of 31st January to the 'old' (now 'closed') thread...."I will update you via this thread as to where we are up to with the orders on a daily basis."
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=18298791&postcount=1633In response to my 'Status request' (sent via Google Checkout on 26th January) I was sent a reply on 26th January (8 days ago) that said "Your order should be shipped within the next couple of days."I sent another 'Status request' yesterday (2nd February) and have yet to receive a reply.0 -

pretty sure someone asked a few weeks ago & the answer was cash only. Not going to look through the old thread for the post though;)Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
Requested a status request and received a reply a few minutes later - basically repeating the info already stated by Dan on the old thread. Now working on orders placed 17th or later, everyone waiting more than 12 days will get a £5.25 refund and other out of stock items will be refunded.
Items listed as '0 - out of stock0 are not out of stock, they just didnt want any orders this weekend and felt that would be a good way of putting people off.0 -
seen the mayo and peanuts
