Take him to the same charm school you went to while he's waiting...:p
Seriously, don't get so uptight about people speaking their mind on an open forum!
Why not get your son involved insomething constructive (martial arts classes to fight off those big boys??) as having a moped it will be a magnet for those bad boys - don't you watch those cop shows where they chase kids on mopeds around schemes?
imho it's a recipe for disaster.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

My mums neighbour got her son a moped as a present because he had had a tough year [he got an asbo for drinking and drugs, stealing cars and making my mums life hell]
within 3 months it got stolen and smashed up by the people who were supposedly his friends, so she bought him another one which he crashed while drunk.
He didnt buy either of these or pay for the insurance.
Moral of the story make sure he is mature enough to handle it and will look after it.0 -
I have just read the court notice and it states THIS ORDER COMES INTO EFFECT
FORTHWITH so he would be 16 years and 5 months be for he got his licience and then his insurance would be high like most of you said .0 -
