  • due to snow, migraine, work and lack of shopping I haven't done at all well, this must be the third of my false starts!!!

    So I weighed myself today, 176.6

    that is my starting weight.

    I will weigh in next friday!

    22 points per day and hopefully weather allowing some exercise!

    I had my weigh in today and stayed exactly the same :mad: I know that I can't really complain as despite doing exercise and eating healthily I have had the odd food slip up this week - still you kinda hope that when you step on the scales it might show a small loss!
    Oh well - never mind on with next week and hopefully a loss!

    Been really rubbish and have been far too scared to even weigh myself!
    Been to Mr M's and bough cheap rubbishy food that will fill us up until we get some more moolah!!!

  • I had my first weigh in last thursday and had lost 4.5 lb, apart from a bit of a blip on friday due to 1 glass of rose wich turned into a whole bottle :o I'm doing ok this week, although finding it easier to use the points now the novelty factor has wore off.
  • Another week, another 2 pounds lost (that’s weight, not money lol) I am officially in the 14 stone category (14 st 12 lbs)! :j

    I have been really good this past week actually, I didn’t even pig out at the cinema on nachos and hot dogs, I took little packs of raisins and sultanas and small containers of peach in natural juice which comes with its own spoon plus a big bottle of Evian.

    On the last weekly shop I bought lots of fruit which I have found is helping a hell of a lot. I’m not really point counting properly but more just choosing healthier eating options. I will get back to point counting probably in March when my finances settle down but for now, it’s just healthy eating and going to the gym 4 times a week. I even went to a spin class yesterday for an hour before I went to work (at 6.30am no less on a Monday morning:eek: ) and boy are my legs killing me now!! :rotfl: I have heard you can burn up to 1200 calories in a spin class so I’m hoping it will help when I weigh myself this coming weekend. ;)

    I'm not having such a great week - lost my motivation a little, but really hoping to find it again soon...

    I tried a spin class once and that was enough for me! It wasn't my legs that hurt so much, but the sheer pain of sitting on that razor blade like seat for an hour, I could hardly walk and even had bruises! I was nearly in tears by the end!

    I did, however do half an hour of wii fit last night and I'm going to the gym tonight so hopefully it will help shift some of those pounds.

    I too am not really point counting, just choosing low calorie / low fat options and trying to eat lots of fruit and veg. I find I get too obsessed after a while counting points and it drives me crazy. I want this to be more of a healthy eating regime for life this time, rather than a diet.

  • Ok not good news got weighed and put on 2lbs . I did go out on saturday night for 3 course meal and drinks but thought I might pull it back ha! Anyway its back to the grind tomorrow so all good I hope. Have not reported a loss since started on this thread so that has to stop! good luck to the rest of you and keep up the good work.
