So I think I lost 2lbs last week- scale says so but I am a bit uncertain at this early stage as to whether its just a hormonal blip- but I live in hope- and it has motivated me to carry on- so I'll take it.
What has been a wondrous thing for me is how forcing myself (and I do mean forcing myself- been 23 years since I last used to have regular brekkie!!) to have breakfast has regulated my eating!! I have some- then no need to grab chocco bar mid morning as not starving, then hungry enough to make a nice lunch- but not so ravenous I chhose to lunch on a whole thing of pringles and another choc bar, and then hungry for Dinner- then not hungry again till breakfast and just don't think of food. So simple- who the hell knew that all the experts and godammit, me mother, were right?? not me- thats for sure!!
Bit of a me me me post tonight as just wanted to 'check in' before going to bed-(9.45- wow I'm so rock'n'roll-NOT)- but tomoz will have a thorough read and see how you are all getting on- good I hope,
outta here- my lovely bed is calling me- but to quote the fabulous Arnie 'I'll be back' x x x0 -
Don't worry about it ritepetit you will make up for it next week I am sure - onwards and downwards!
Lets go with a 2 pound loss Sheba especially when it motivates you to try even harder.
I have been good this week and done Davina's dvd workout twice so heres hoping that come Sunday I will have lost something!0 -
can I join? I've had to go back to WW as only thing that worked but it costs so much and recipes not cheap. Also have 2 teenage sons who complain recipes are not enough for them. I think I'll stop telling them when a meal is WW. Any family budget meals would be welcome.long haul no 65:sad:

hi all
well weighed in today and I have put on a 1lb so total weight loss is now 10lb. I'm not sure how I've put on a pound as i have stuck to points and been to the gym 3 x this week so I;m a bit miffed but on the upside I have lost 10lb since starting this so onward and hopefully downward for next week. ts great to see so many of you doing really well Keep it up!!Mortgage free 25/9/2019 8years and 7 months early 😁😁😁0 -
Hi All, I'd like to join in...
I started at WW last Wednesday and weighed in at a whopping 17st 12.5lbs! Whilst it never shocked me, it shocked some of my family, I must carry my weight well!
I get married in July, around 4.5 months to go and I would like to weigh a couple of stones less but I don't want to put a set figure on it, because I have so much to lose (I would love to be around 10-12st) I think that a huge target will demoralise me so just taking each week as it comes.
I go and try on my wedding dress in 2 weeks for the first time since I ordered it so I would love to be half a stone lighter by then and I think that is a realistic target as when I have done WW before the first few weeks have been the biggest losses.
I am starting on 18 points this week and will then be having 25, which is a lot, think I will struggle to eat that many but I know that I have to if I want to lose weight, my grandma has made the mistake in the past of not wanting to eat her full points allocation and then not losing weight despite eating less... Its been a hard few days but I am now enjoying the challenge, tomorrow is going to be tough as going for a meal at uncles (he is doing the wedding ceremony so going to talk about that) but told my auntie that I am trying my hardest to stick to the diet so she said she will make something healthy!
Going to be using my Wii Fit and I also have an air rower, which I love doing, the computer isn't working on it at the minute, hoping to get it fixed very soon and want to challenge myself to 'row' the English Channel and back (42 miles) by the time the wedding comes round!0 -
you go for it girl!Debt as of 20th Aug 2009 -£6600 and falling :j0
