Hi all, good news..... Was awarded High rate mobility but no change in low rate care apart from it has been awarded for 3 years rather than the two years that had been set. so although it seemed like mi5 were on the pannel and it had gone wrong, they had started off saying that the decision was from december so they had to only take into account how things were back then yet the questions were more about how I was today. the woman doctor was asking things like what is it that is causing the pain to shoot down your legs and cause you to fall. I said that the consultant had said such and such for her to say yes but what do you think the problem is... my response was well as I have not had 5 years in medical training I do not know and as the patiant it is not my job to guess what it is my only job is to do everything i am asked to that can help me, it is the doctors job to worry about whats wrong as he is the one to be charged with the task of fixing the problem. they also asked about the first time i had fallen and had the scraping all down arm and palm, they asked what I was doing in town that day, my responce was " your joking right? I can not remember why I was in town last week nevermind 18 months ago."
We walked out thinking things could have gone better and for sure could not have gone much worse as I admitted that I had let them get to me a little.
but am happy to be going from lrc to hrm and lrc. will make a differance.Only through Christ can we find freedom0 -

Congratulations Blakespops
3 years is a good length of time, you will definitely need the break now after all you've been through to get it. Well done!
Thanx

Thank you all, forget what? no idea what you mean, lol wish was so simple, have to do them twice weekly meetings at job centre, now them are a joke. but I have a laugh with them, as far as a break we are hoping to have a little holiday maybe a P&O mini cruise to belgum or spain... there a few days at sea with only the things on ship to do and mobiles turned off... total relaxing time. plus cheap tobacco too lol. we have decided to not get a car at first on motibility though and use money to make home better and a nice new bed that will have room for us and 4 year old as he always joins us taking up all the spare room... "there were three in the bed and the little one said... move over dad your in my space lol" plus last christmas we could not give him not only the christmas he should have had but his birthday is a week before christmas so his birthday was bad so he is getting a big treat and christmas shopping is being done early.Only through Christ can we find freedom0
