Oh dear, I am going to come across as so anti here, but;
Blakespops, get a grip. Sympathy won't help. There are so many folks, including me, in this position.
You can only fight your own case, trying to enlist the assistance of others is futile. Tell it as it is , and you will win out:T:TI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

Myself and my wife have met a few people off here and are supporting them in their time of need. posting what I did was not looking for sympathy but just updating people on what was happening. when you have someone helping with the claim you feel the preasure is off you, and you tend to not sort things out the way you would if you were fighting the case yourself. that is the reason it was not good news.
As for it being futile to enlist the help of others as telling it as it is will win out, we would not be going to appeal if telling it as it is was all it took. most people on here do get assistance not only with appeals but also with claims as the whole system is set up in such a way that it is not what you say but how you word it that matters. you can be saying the exact same thing but by wording it in such a way makes it that you have a better chance of being accepted.
Anyway we are still waiting for a date for the appeal but am due back at the hospital next week.Only through Christ can we find freedom0 -

I will tell you Andy was upset that someone would say something like that about him on here as he has tried to help many offering empathetic shoulders to them and has never lost his sence of humour. His GP is now on maternity leave and when he went back this week for a follow up on how he has taken to his new medication the doctor did not know what he was talking about and asked what new nerve pills he was due to start lol. he replied " the ones that work" so even the doctor had to laugh at that one.
He still has not had a date yet but are due to go to see welfare rights worker this week and next Saturday he has a follow up with the Consultant at the hospital so will keep you updated.
but if that lady is correct and the truth will win out you know you have the appeal won already so keep your chin up and for goodness sake do not let them grind you down sock it to them.Only through Christ can we find freedom0
