I second the 'any big bag will do' for a changing bag... I'm a wotsit for changing my handbag regularly and was the same with changing bags, once we were past the need for a sack for 3 changes of clothes I just used to use little handbags or backpacks that would fit a couple of nappies and some wipes... Hubby bought me a gorgeous handbag for my birthday that I think will look lovely hung on the back of a pushchair...

I'm aching now... Took Aimee to my usual breastfeeding group but there were a few older ones there seeing as it's half term, she enjoyed herself! Then I took her to get her feet measured... They haven't grown at all so that's saved me a couple of quid... And then we popped to the ELC, I got a voucher through the post this morning offering 20% off and because I had to take something back a while ago I had a gift card with £37.50 on it... So picked up this for the baby and Aimee chose this for herself (but it came in a box not a big plastic toadstool and was £1 cheaper!) Still got change on the gift card too... Then I remembered I was going to pick up some sweets for my Aunt that are her favourites but needed to go to the shop right the other side of town that sells things by weight... Aimee's first time in there though, she was amazed at all the jars of sweets stacked round the walls! Popped back through Tesco for tea and by the time I got to the checkout I could barely stand up... Don't know how I made it to the bus station, or from the bus to home... Now at the stage where every time I sit down I seize up but I have to keep getting up for things like making tea....
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Heehee I just got a bargain ;)
My maxi Cosi seat that I wanted (basically this one) has been on offer in JL for a while down to £80 and kept meaning to go get it - went in to buy my iCandy today after work and thought - well I might as well see if they still have them - I got the last one!!! and because it was the last one I got it for £70 so I'm well chuffed! The only difference between this and the model that replaces it is apparently the colour... the seat part in the new one is black and not grey like this one... I like the grey so not a problem for me :D So instead of £115 for the "red" one mine was £70 - a saving of £45 :D

Also spent HUGE amount on the iCandy and cot... ah well at least most of that will be coming back from daddy :D I love my daddy! :D

  • Right have just ordered a curry - we are in eviction mode! I may see if I can coax hubby into some action later too.

I have had a poo day working from home so if I can get Bubba to arrive before next Wed when I am supposed to be working again I will be very happy!!

Also had my first skype call with my mum and dad - we have set it up so they can see the baby every day if they want to even though they are too far away to see him every day 'in the flesh' - we keep joking that we will set up the skype and they can babysit remotely whilst we go to the pub!! If something happened we could be back in 2 mins max ;):D

Would recommend it to anyone with family who live a distance away (I know we have a fair few here with this problem...AF, MrsT, Feelie...)

Good buy on the maxi cosi Mrs T :T

MFD, you know that a little 'solo fun' can work just as well as a bit of the old howsyerfarther? :rotfl: Now the best thing would be to do both! But then we don't want you tiring yourself out :D

Well done Mrs.Tine! Another bargain for the day! I got my carry cot less than half price from eBay.

No you can have video calls on it too these days :) - but if the other party doesn't have a mike then they can type to you and they can hear you speaking still :)
