Helen when was your LMP as on my reckoning your period isn't due until Friday of this week. Is that correct can you really test that early these days?

    Hi,
My period isn't actually due till Sunday..close,lol..oohh spooky, how did u know?! Although I arn't due on till then,Im 13dpo though as I ovulated early. So I guess it proves that going by how many days past ov you are stands for more than how many days you are away from the witch.

Helen, The problem is when you start altering the legnth of your cycle, our midwives and doctors don't do that here! But then they don't give us an actual due date till our booking scan at 12 weeks (a scan before 6 weeks is not accurate either). What to do to get the same EDD your mw will give you is leave the cycle legnth at 28 days. But to get a more accurate date, set it to your cycle length... confused yet??? :rotfl:

There is one that is awesome, it gives you what gestation you are on what day... I will try and find it.

So far, I have 3 dates... one based on my scan at 6 weeks which said I was 5/3, the one my mw gave me and the one I used my cycle legnth for, which is what I'm using as it feels about right.

Oh booger, just recalculated my EDD using my average cycle length and it's 2nd November! Think I'll just wait n see what date my 1st scan comes up with

I'm like you still stunned and definitely wasn't planned. I used internet cheapies too and have done four tests as couldn't believe it. Hubby says he's going to do one as he's convinced they all test +tive. I always look at the paper whenever I go to the loo expecting I'm just late. However this urge is reducing now as I'm never this late and my breasts are definitely heavy and sensitive. No other symptoms though fingers crossed.

I must have been tested for gonherroea (or however you spell it!) too as I was told I didn't have it - not that I suspected I did! Wasn't asked if I wanted it so just assumed it was one of the ones included as norm.

It messes with your mind..... :rotfl:

First blood tests according to my notes...

    Blood Group
Full Blood Count - iron levels mainly, you may be annemic
Rubella status - you may need a shot if youre not immune
    Sypillis
    Hep B
    HIV
    Clamidia if under 25

You will get a prescription for folic acid but if your bloods were taken and you need a prescription, it will probably be iron.
