Mook, I am having the same cot, with a matress from mothercare for £30. I think I mentioned it before. Its their own brand air max with a spare washable top sheet.
I went to tidy my bedroom, folded two sheets and had a lie down to think about it.... an hour later I woke up needing a peeTime to go get DS2 from his Grans.

Hello all. Anyone found some good maternity tights? I just used hold-ups last time, but had a few rather embarrassing moments when they didn't hold up - like on a train platform! I ended up taking them off between 2 parked cars on my way to a meeting :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'd like some in black and some in brown. All recommendations greatly appreciated. TIAMSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090 -
Lu - I've got no idea why you would want to punish yourself by wearing tights
but I'm just flicking through the mothercare catalogue and they do 15 denier 2pk for £8 in black or Natural whatever that colour is

I have been wearing my normal tights in larger size. I find that I have to wear them pulled up to under my bra to prevent me having 2 bumps! Alternatively I just leave the top of the tights under my bump but I dont feel very supported that way.Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0

Thanks Sami
I did think about an au pair - live out variety - but they're a lot more expensive and a lot rarer sadly.
Back from IKEA and Asda (who still have the baby even on for those looking - no idea how they compare to Tesco's event)
DH finishing off the nursery floor which looks very nice - not 100% certain it matches the wall colour but never mind lol - hopefully no-one will notice
Having been to Ikea I would say look at that nursery furniture in person before you buy it... The Hensvik range though was pretty niceDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Aimee has the hensvik bookcase... But not the nursery one... It was smaller and more expensice than the normal sized one... She used to have two but we're pinching one for our room once its done lol...
My sister just bought Aimee back from my Mums, she very rarely visits here... But she just said to Aimee before she left 'are you going to come and visit me in the half term? You can get the bus over!' Excuse me?! She has a car and it takes 25 mins from her house to mine and she never comes, and she's manipulating Aimee so I catch a 40min bus to her area then a 20min walk up a hill to her house... Hmm... Really don't think that's going to happen!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Families are great aren't they. Hubby invited all his clan over (6 adults and 3 kids) last night for a 'party' I had said I wasn't going to do anything food-wise but when I spoke to Hubby on Friday night he said he had told people I was doing 'nibbles'. So I put on a bit of a spread, sandwiches and chicken legs, little jacket potatoes and made a chilli and they practically ate me out of house and home...all the time saying 'you should be resting and taking it easy you know'
When Hubby first told me he had invited them over I said ok but someone was going to have to cook our sunday lunch for us today...I had all the kids overnight and fed them all twice today - did I get a sunday roast??? Fat chance! Maybe next week...please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
