  • elle - have you tried calling round independant pram/nursery shops to see if they stock? I have found that they tend to have the best selection even if they are a fair journey away (sorry I have no idea where you have already tried) Or perhaps if you dropped a mail to silver cross they may have an idea of which one of their stockists might have the one you are after?

    Just a thought.

searching - yes, pantliners make me feel more "comfortable" sorry!
  • Evening all :D

Just spent ages trynig to catch up with everything that's been going on.

Been a manic week in work and with parent's that are still in hospital so have had a pants week - my FIL has not got clostriduim (sp) on top of the MRSA (gotta love hospitals) and my mum has developed Pleurisy - if she didn't have enough to deal with. All of this was not helped by me falling down the stairs on Wednesday either

Gave me a big shock but was at doc's later that day and she said everything seems fine.

Just can't wait for my 20 weeks scan now only 12 days to go :D
You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same

CB - there is a good (by reputation) pram shop in town, it's just awkward to get to with their opening hours and our working hours. Will have to make a serious effort next weekend to get there. Thanks for your suggestions - if no joy there I'll phone SX direct :)

I've just checked me email to find a Facebook message from my friend who's getting married in April about her hen night. She asked a group of us when we're available and how we felt about fancy dress.. While I've been out, every single one of them has replied that they'd love fancy dress :( I HATE it with a passion!! I could cry.. :(

you could alway suggest they all dress up as a pregnant lady
PS. My local independent has all three varieties of sx prams  I would allways recommend an indie over mothercare etc for pram shopping, they are IMHO much more knowledgeable and their was a list of stockists on the sx website when I looked :D

Searching - Yes I had it last time and again this time, for me it lasted the whole preg so I was expecting it this time - most annoying!

Tink I'm praying your Mum doesn't end up like my dad, he had pleurisy that turned into pneumonia in both lungs and as a result of all the bed rest he's now got a DVT
He's just gone back to work this week, he's been off since the last week in october!!

Just wondered if anyone has any advice on twin buggys that both seats can be used from birth, would really appreciate any advice.

    Hi,

Congratulations! there are a few buggies here that can be used from birth http://www.glasgowpramcentre.co.uk/shop/section.php?section_id=7&page=1&rpp=8 I guess like any buggy you need to think about how you are going to use it i.e. do you use the bus/train often (something compact and light) do you like to walk lots? (something substantial with all round suspension) do you need to drive most places? then something lightweight would suffice but if you can click the car seat into the buggy that might make your life easier... With a double you also have to choose if you prefer tandem or side by side. I would just hit a large shop(s) and play with everything until I had a feel for what I might like. Then ask opinions from others who might have used your "ideal" pram to get their opinion.

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
