I really don't know what to do job-wise when my maternity leave is up. Ideally I would be looking for another job in the field I want my career in whilst I am on leave. Practically it makes more sense to return to where I am, but that doesn't really help me in the long term.
Oh I don't know, It is driving me mad though.

Ahh.. I feel better after a nap
My two smallest toes on my left foot have gone numbIt's not the first time and as they're only little it doesn't matter much but it's just annoying.
I've been meaning to ask, what is all the not-sleeping-on-your-back thing about? From when are you not supposed to do it? I usually fall asleep on my side but always wake up on my back so I don't know how long I've been like that. Is it bad for just me or the baby too? Thanks!0 -
Can I have some ideas for what to drink instead of wine on Monday night when OH is taking me out for a meal in a nice restaurant? I'm going to feel about 2 years old if I have a glass of lemonade or coke with my meal! What do other people do on special occasions? I'm only going to be 7+3 so don't want to risk a small amount of wine yet (if I ever do, the guidelines for my last 2 pregnancies were no alcohol at all so I've always stayed dry throughout though I know they've now changed to allow the odd glass of wine in the last two tris
Well... seeing as how I don't drink alcomahol ever.... soda water and lemon, J2O, fresh juice and soda, fake (non alcaholic stuff)... hummm... that's it really... sorry.0 -

Go to teh chemist and get Cymex, it's in a yellow tube. Tiny bit goes a long way. Sinks in straight away, doesn't have a taste and soothes them too. I use a dab in the morning before putting lippy on and it keep sthem pouty all day long.0 -

Mel x
I think their words were "yep I'm pretty sure it's definitely a girl!"
I'm going to be leaving over a month before my due date... due date of 16th of May and I leave on the 9th of April (well that's my last day at least) and I still have to take 7 days off before then heeheehee

Only 1 week left at work until maternity leave starts (well technically 5 weeks holiday then maternity leave). I feel I have waited for this for so long!! When I went back to work after having DS2 it was supposed to be for a year max whilst OH retrained and we tried for another baby however the ababy bit has taken a bit longer than expected and now 2 years later iIcan finally leave!!
Does it show that I am excited. OH went back to work 6 months ago and DS2 has been in a childminders since and it has broke my heart!! I am finally going to be a SAHM!!0 -
You lot just reminded me about tarry poops. With DS1 they left him with no nappy in his incubator so he could get max phototherapy and he did his first poop. It was everywhere! In his hair, all over the incubator... So they took him off for his first bath and cleaned it all up. With DS2 I was still unconcous so again the nurses cleaned him up. I met him on day 3/4 and was only well enough to start his care routines on day 5. No doubt with this one I will get the honours
I just bought a new car too. A big black 7 seater hyundi something or other! Scared to look at insurance quotes....0
