Just got back from Mothercare to get a nursing bra. I've been eyeing up some right nice nursing undies but was really moneysaving and decided to go for a cheaper, less fancy Mothercare one in a t-shirt stylee but in bright pink :D I hate those horrible frumpy nursing bras and was swayed as it has matching shorts - however turns out the store doesn't have them in stock and to order them online (even with discount code) is gonna cost £4.95 postage

OH bought me a HotMilk chemise for my birthday, and it's bloody gorgeous, but there's no way I can afford to buy more of their stuff, nice as it is! It's all black and slinky but has a nursing bra integral. Amoralia have a really nice set I keep lusting after: http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?product_id=AM-002-A02&mci=&size=&colour=&image=r3875-p172386-front but at just £42 for the bra, again, I think I'm dreaming right now about ever getting that one!

I'm sure they used to give you free delivery if it wasn't in stock in store  they're getting a bit tight now!
I got sent a 10% off code but I'm not sure if its a personal code or not are you signed up to their mailing list?

Thank you for this - I will ask next time I see the dentist about an "apex locator" rather than using an xray.
The dentist told me yesterday that xrays were a definate no-no in pregnancy (as I had thought myself) and that he would need to see the xray before doing root canal. I did ask what other ways there are around it while I was there, but TBH, the dentist didn't seem to care all that much and just wanted to get the next patient in.

The antibiotics are doing their job at the moment and the swelling has gone down slightly. But if I get anymore problems I will bear this in mind. Thank you again for this info, much appreciated. :)

Personally, I PREFER not to X-ray pregnant ladies, but that's only because sometimes bad things do happen in pregnancy, and I'd hate for there to be any thought that it could have been due to something I did.

But - the science says it's OK, so if someone NEEDED a dental x-ray, then I'd tell the patient the reasons for it and so long as it was OK with them, I'd go ahead.

If anything, the first 3 months of a pregnancy are the time I'd really feel uncomfortable about doing x-rays - but again, it's been judged to be OK with respect to the very soft dental x-rays.

If they do do one - DON'T let them put a lead apron on you. This has been shown to funnel the scattered x-rays back into the body again! It's 'safer' without one.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

tara - glad all is OK. How horrible not to get any bonding time - that is shocking! Don't they realise how much us ladies look forward to these things. Maybe you could ring up and complain - they might book you in again.......

Back from aquanatal... Really gald I went, it's the most moving I've done in the last 6 months I think.. But it doesn't feel like excersize so thats good!

Just got to get Aimee ready and head off to her swimming lesson now... It's taken half an hour just to get her uniform off so far... Must be great being nearly 5 and having no concept of time!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

on the subject of Caz I'm considering turning into some kind of stalker to find out her phone number or something :p
I am really worried about where she has gone :(
I was looking at her friends list and one of her friends is not a mutual one of mine and lives in Edinburgh, so I thought maybe she was a personal friend, hoiw about sending her a PM.

I'm in pain from trying to get them on! Can't seem to reach my feet any more :(

I even tried getting some really soft, stretchy socks, but still can't reach!

Good job I've got slip on shoes, otherwise I'd have to walk around barefoot.
