Well that is weird, I have about a million of the damn things, everytime i've had a scan (i've had about scans 5 altogether) i've been given a print out, not sure if this is what everyone gets but if i were you I would phone the dept, or your midwife and find out, doesnt sound right to me hun.

After waiting in the freezing cold rain for TWO HOURS, I am back home.

I could have walked home in 20 minutes if it weren't for SPD.

I don't think I shall ever leave the house again.

    OH best appreciate this beer!

I've had 6 NHS scans (I think?) and I've had variou different services. One gave me a small print out, one gave me a large print out, one gave me a huge print out, one didn't give me anything, and one didn't appear to measure anything. Thats at the same place, just different technitions.

My Notes aren't as detailled as the hospital notes. They only seem to put the basics on my notes.

What did you get on your 20wk one, sorry to ask?

As I have no intention of entering a hospital again putting them in the hospital notes seems a waste of time. Clearly says in my notes HB.

Tara that is awful! I'd definitely complain When I had mine the sonographer showed me everything from top of head through kidneys and down to toes then at the end gave me a print out with some of the measurements on it that I gave to the MW and she wrote some in my notes (I think) and the print out in the hospital big file.
yep just looked and it says BPD - 47, FL - 30, HC - 169, Liquor - N, Placenta - Ant, Fetal Heart - seen
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

  • Hi everyone!!

Had my 12 week scan today I am measuring at 12+6 which i KNOW is wrong as I know exactly which day I ovulated on (due to the pee sticks) so I am 12+2 despite what they say. My DS has stayed on 75th centile for height since he was born so I expect this little one is just tall. They measured him and said he was a 10lb+ baby and in the end he was 7lb 7.5oz as they based it on length and foot size at the 32 week scan. He was just tall and had MASSIVE feet so I think I am right!! Thankfully his feet look much more in proportion now!!

Anyway I saw little baby do a big stretch and kick the legs and punch the air. Was so cute my DH has been walking around with a stupid grin on his face all day since. So sweet bless him. He was saying how it's going to be weird having a baby that's new and so so different in personality to our DS (13mths) but he can't wait. I took one look at his great big smile and i just knew how lucky I was he is such a good daddy.

My wee sample came back fine this time so if i did have an infection it has gone now. Thank goodness!

I've got 2 lots, one is the normal scan print out which lists all bubs measurements, plus says that everything else thaat was seen was normal, my dates, even had details of OH on there.

Then there was the one which was the detailed scan of bubs heart, an echocariology(sp?) which gave all the results for that too.

In each of these ones I was given 3 copys, one for me, one for my GP and one for my hospital notes.
