Who else on here has had PTSD?? I had/have it after DS2 was born and trying to ignore the 'elective c section' word. I want to talk them into an induction if I have to go early. Tbh, the thought of another section scare the crap out of me. But like I said, right now I am just completely ignoring it... not good in the long run though is it? I'm shaking right now just thinking about it.

I've got PTSD, but not birth/pregnancy related.

Does your consultant know how you feel? I've been ignoring the 'people violating me' bit of birth up till now, think yesterday it hit me!

Hope you feel better soon ((hugs))

I'm in pain from trying to get them on! Can't seem to reach my feet any more :(

I even tried getting some really soft, stretchy socks, but still can't reach!

Good job I've got slip on shoes, otherwise I'd have to walk around barefoot.

    oh feely, bless you.

i was going to suggest those soft 'magic' socks but looks like you had already thought of them.

Seems like I've pulled or strained the muscles around my sacro-illiac joint - one of the GP's has just seen me hobbling around so examined me and said I need to do some exercises. THANK GOD - thought it might be pg related and I'd be stuck like this for the next 32 weeks!!!!
Didn't tell him I was pg though so will make sure I do exercises very gently.

Sami - my M&FIL are exactly the same, which is why we don't want to tell them straightaway. They will go out and buy anything and everything at full cost. They bought a 2nd hand car for him to use for work and spent £800 over what it was worth because they didn't bother doing any research - we b0ll0cked them over it and their reply was 'It was all we could afford' - hello, you could have saved £800 if you had been a bit more patient.

    Bloody in laws ......

Just got back from Mothercare to get a nursing bra. I've been eyeing up some right nice nursing undies but was really moneysaving and decided to go for a cheaper, less fancy Mothercare one in a t-shirt stylee but in bright pink :D I hate those horrible frumpy nursing bras and was swayed as it has matching shorts - however turns out the store doesn't have them in stock and to order them online (even with discount code) is gonna cost £4.95 postage

OH bought me a HotMilk chemise for my birthday, and it's bloody gorgeous, but there's no way I can afford to buy more of their stuff, nice as it is! It's all black and slinky but has a nursing bra integral. Amoralia have a really nice set I keep lusting after: http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?product_id=AM-002-A02&mci=&size=&colour=&image=r3875-p172386-front but at just £42 for the bra, again, I think I'm dreaming right now about ever getting that one!

Don't worry to much about the exercises they will be meant to be done slowly, if ur worried about them at all PM me them and I can run them by my sis for you (she's a physio )

MIL is crazy I mean FIL's contract runs out at the end of march and no guarantee he'll get a new job in this climate.
When I was umming and arrhing over weather to buy the double pram or not she offered to buy it if we waited  It would have cost at least £150 more if we waited.
oh and latest news FIL is 50 next jan and plan is for as many of the huuge H clan to go skiing together and MIL said the other day we're gonna look at going to Canada instead of the Alps next yr would the flight be ok with bump being 6mths? I was more like errr it will cost double to go to Canada than Europe but if you want to throw your money away I'm not passing up the oportunity to go to Canada :D
