  • Hello all!

I popped on yesterday to say I was 'late' and maybe would be joining you. I've done a test today (well three actually) and they are showing positive. To be honest I am still in denial right now wondering what will be ahead of me. I'm 40 now hubbie 45 and our 3 boys are 12,10 and 7 and so this is somewhat of a shock. Although ofcourse we always knew that there was a risk but a low risk.

The practicalities are daunting but I'm sure we will come to terms pretty soon.

Doesn't it mean he's got 3 fiifths of his head wedged in ur pelvis :D:confused:

are you enjoying increase lung space tho?

Nope- you are 5 fifths when not engaged so 3 fifths means that 2 fifths are stuck inside - they measure going by what the MW can feel. I checked!! :p

God the thread is moving quickly! Or am I just slowing down!!

    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.
  • For anyone else who has been worrying about Caz - I was thinking that maybe for some reason her internet access has been cut off??

All her facebook friends are from here - I think that (like me) she only set up a FB account when the MSE Preg Club set up there.

I like the idea of her not getting on the net much more than any other suggestion.

Strangely, it's the only thing that can stop me retching. I can be doing it for around 10mins continuely, it takes a lot of guts to put the brush in so it usually gets rammed in inbetween retches.

OH can actually see how sick I must feel so is being very sympathetic!

I could never leave the house without brushing with toothpaste - urgh furry teeth  . Never forget the dentist coating my teeth in yellow paste before to help with sensitivity - I looked liek I hadn't brushed for a month so refused to speak to anyone!!!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I too have been really worried about her recently as she was such an active member of the group. I hope it is just internet problems as well.

Feelie - the story is really old but has suddenly popped up again - I'm not sure why, unless she's done it for a 2nd time
She talked about it when she was on "This Morning" which was around october time last year I think
