I'm off to aquanatal in a min... Wondering if it's a good idea... Everything feels like such an effort today!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

No scan appointment in the post but my necklace arrived! And so too did a cheque for just under £200, a refund of nursery fee's!!! Woohoo!! Kick start to the holiday spending money fund :j

R.Mac, glad you and baby are doing well now!

Sami-Bee, poor you, have you anything to shift it? Hot orange, I find coffee is good (although I am off it at the moment), a menthol sweet or something? Lots of huffing to clear it rather than coughing and you wont retch.

    Hello

Well I am a Mummy now!!!! To a little girl called Annabel Rose. She was born at 11.39am, Friday 6th february and weighed 8lbs 10oz, with a huge shock of dark hair like mummy and daddy.

I'm not going to post my birth story just now, but the home birth didn't work out - nothing to do with home births though - little Annabel and I weren't well and we needed to be blue lighted to the hospital :( She was in neonatal care for a while and I was in high dependency so poor hubby had to run between us for a few days. I just got home and although a bit sore and VERY tired I'm so in love.

I promise to comeback and fill in the blanks at a later date (soon hopefully).

    r.mac xxxx

Congrats r.mac - hope you and Annabel Rose (gorgeous name), are doing well now.
Sorry you didn't get the birth intended - but glad you are both ok now! So much for birth plans!!
Looking forward to seeing your pics, and hearing the full story - and hoping to see you on the parent club - you're my birth buddy with our little girls one day apart.
    Take care. xxxx

OK, called midwife clinic thing and someone is going to phone my consultants office and call me back. So many questions about why I had changed consultant and when I saw mw... they said it takes a while to come through, but I am 11/2 so kinda expecting the scan soon.... Really do feel like I have just been forgotten about now! I got more care when I was going for the termination! Is that not sickening? Feel all ranty now.

ETA, it turns out I will be under yet another consultant! She allocates her appointments herself so we are just waiting for her to allocate mine. Her clinic is a Wednesday afternoon, so atleast I don't have to worry about missing college.

I was doing alright till I opened a parcel with OH last night! My Gran has sent me three little knitted cardigans. They are so little and scary :o Poor baby is going to have nothing to wear if I don't get my act together.

Also, just wanted to say thanks to everyone for yesterday. Was having a bit of a bad day, anxiety was pretty high. Feel much better today, and I'm grateful for you all being so nice to me :o
Oh god, just steer clear of the tiny or early baby section of clothes then!
You'll be fine, get your OH to buy the clothes then lol
    Or order them online :D

Nope - nothing else needed from me after CVS. I *have* been to see a consultant at hosp, but that's because of my prolapses :( Even then he didn't look or anything, just verbally checked I would have a VBAC (if I'd said no he would have tried to get me to have one anyway. Was more interested in talking to his student about prolapses and the ketones in my sample (couldn't explain them - tee hee!) Am signed off and back under comm mw - I haven't actually seen 'my' midwife yet. Booking in I saw a covering mw and then at 16 weeks I saw a relief mw - and that's it so far! Have got appt next week though (28 week appt and I'll be 27+ but it was then or 3 weeks later) when I'm fully expecting to be referred for my GTT :( - not that I've ever had a problem in previous pgs, but I have a large fam history of diabetes, inc gestational diabetes.

I also want to check on my itching - it's horrendous - I wake myself up scratching my palms and thumbs and it really disturbs my sleep. Only other place I itch is one shoulder - but again I tear at it in bed. I'd like her to rule out OC (obstetric choleostasis (sp)) as she'll be taking bloods anyway. I've itched before in pg but NEVER like this - and (TMI alert) has turned dark and smelly - when it's normally so pale (I drink loads - and that's not changed - if anything my fluid intake is better at the mo as I've switched to mainly herbals rather than PG tips - and I have about a litre of juice/ water mix a day and several mugs of warm milk (heartburn!)) I doubt she'll be interested though...

Ah well - am making cottage pie for tea, so best get on with it!

    Does this work??

Finally, Violet pics for anyone not on the facebook group.

I feel a bit sad i'm not part of the pregnancy club any more!
And woke up looking for my bump this morning - forgetting she was in the moses basket next to me. :rotfl:

I'd best go and introduce myself on the parent club - but i'm going to have to keep popping in to see when babies are born.
