Ah got a mail late last night... apparently I'm going down - OR I can off load it on a coleague who isn't experienced in being infront of clients knowing he'll be in the firing line for any flack and won't have the experience to deal with them and basically letting someone else take the carp that will be flying whilst I sit in comfort at home... playing a guilt trip on me at all? Knowing I would never do that to someone I work with... I'd never ask someone to do something I'm not willing to do myself. So unless I get signed off late afternoon today then I'll be driving 365 miles tomorrow to sit in a meeting on my own because the company won't authorise the milage for the acc manager to be there too... great.

Well it's not starting out well... just had call from docs surgery - my doctor is off sick and not expected back till next week :( The only upside is that I've managed to get an appointment with the doctor who signed me off last time and admitted me to hospital... At least she's nice and a she - so might be more understanding too - I can hope :(

  • Thanks for asking Elle, I am having a planned section on 2 March.

I didn't see my consultant I saw a stroppy SHO who clearly disagreed with my decision making. They will not let me go overdue this time, so if baby didn't show up on time i would end up with a section anyway, if I try for a VBAC they wanted to constantly monitor me so I wouldn't be able to have a water birth or even labour in a bath or standing or basically in any postion other than lying on the bed. Thats how it was last time and I have no intentions of going through that again so I said i wanted a section unless i could labour how I chose.

Re working I stayed at home for the first year and then i worked 3 days whilst millie went to a childminders. I gave up work when millie was 3, a combination of
-her not being happy at the childminders
-me not being convinced she was getting the early education she was ready for, October birthday so all her peers started nursery and left the childminders whilst she had another year to wait
-work being a pain and me ending up working 4.5 days and being rung at home on non work days
-OH working away and work being inflexible about me fitting my hours around picking up/dropping off
-Money was it worth the £300 I actually came out with after paying childcare and travel?

    Morning All

Well, didn't really decide on the name last night, although dh did say that by using Kai we could annoy the grandparents.. for a third time hehe... They didn't like our choices of names for our boys either!! (Luca and Jaden)
So looks like that might be the front runner.

Got two hours to study before my friend and baby come round:) So better get cracking.

Also, Something I was curious about....I have been getting quite a lot of clear thickish discharge. I don't remember having this with my other pregnancies, so not sure if it's normal?? I have also been having looooads of really uncomfortable braxton hicks (mainly when walking). Anyone else?

    Mel x (35+6)

    Have a lovely day everyone...
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
