Thats one thing I am worried about - I did decide never to have babies, didn't want to risk passing my alcoholism on to them, but then this little miracle happened! Fingers crossed it'll be alright, although I'm going to be very edgy when he hits 13 or so. Don't know how I'm going to cope with the normal teenage drinking, I'll be sat at the door waiting for him to get in, smelling his breath and accusing him of being an alkie!

FG, there are thousands of things that could happen to our children that we have absolutely no control over... What we do have is the ability to educate them, open their eyes to the dangers around them and hope that when we send them out into the big wide world we send them equiped to deal with whatever life throws at them... What we did in our former lives will have an impact on them through the way we educate them but won't neccessarily be passed on through genetics...

Elle - managed to go tonight, but only just managed to stay awake! So glad to be home, just got to feed OH and then I can get in bed.
