You can take the girl out of Derbyshire but you can't take the Derbyshire out of the girl ;):D

Telling that story has cheered me up no end!! I recommend dragging out your most embarrassing but funny stories next time you are feeling a bit glum!!

Ooo - Isaac is on our list (has been my fave since very early days) but it sounds like it is rising in popularity.

Only one of my older DD's tried the drink thing. She was 15 and I gotta call one evening at 9pm with her saying 'please come get me mum'. They'd got hold of some vodka, one girl taken off in an ambulance, but she knew she could ring me which is more than her friends did with their parents. I never punished her but she came to me the next day and asked why anyone would want to feel like that so we talked, never happened again. Phew!
Too many children, too little time!!!

Oh Sami - I remember getting legless the weekend before my 18th (my parents knew I was in the pub, I was with my big bro) and coming home and literally vomitting in my lap as I sat on the sofa :o
What I said is now legend in our family:

    Me: Bleurgh
    Dad: What are you doing?
Me: I think I have been sick... :o

My parents and brother don't really drink so I am the black sheep of the family for enjoying the odd tipple!
:rotfl:I'm pretty much T-total now  have been for a few yrs - I'm allergic to so much its just easier to avoid alcohol as most of it doesn't list ingredients and I'm confident and loud anyway so don't need to drink like some people do (Not insinuating that u are one of those!!)
My friends found it hilarious that I quit drinking before I was even 18 :rotfl: I said you kno ur from wigan when you can quit something before your even legally allowed to do it!
The first time I got completely off my face I was 15, last day of school I drank a small bottle of vodka neat _pale_ I woke up the next day in my own bed in my underwear, with hair like russell brand and it felt like it had a nice combo of mud and sick in it  I had no idea how I got there coz school, party and my friends I was meant to be staying at were all 30mins drive away from home!!
Turned out my boyf at the time had called my 'rents to get me :o
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

My mum's advice was always "never sleep with someone you don't want to have to see for the rest of your life!" (father visiting rights and all that)... With hindsight, I clearly didn't stick to that - there are several I never want to see again, ever! *shudder* :(
  • I was 14 when I was so drunk I couldnt run away with all my friends when the police came over to see what we were all doing (group of about 14 of us as far as I can remember !!)

Me and my friend got a lift home that night !!!

    Mum was not impressed:eek:
Never really got told off for it, she just told me that she hoped I had learned my lesson, ....... still havent !!!!!:D

  • My BF little boy is called Kai and I have Isaac as my main choice if bump is a boy, so I like both !!!

Personally think Kai Thomas sounds good together, but you will make the right choice !!!

Isaac is a lovely name. I wish i could use it as me and OH cannot agree on any boys names!! Can't have an Isaac with the surname Hunt though lol
If google doesn't know it, how should i?
