Oh dear.. I'm so grouchy today :( Feels like I've got PMT and I very rarely used to get that anyway!

Have been really clumsy all day and making small mistakes at work (although it was mistakes with payroll rather than filing something in the wrong place, so someone wouldn't have thought it was a "small" mistake when they didn't get paid!) which then made me question and double check everything :(

We had a dept meeting today which was planned for tomorrow so I wasn't as prepared for it as I could have been and ended up getting lots of work dumped on me. I asked that something is finished before I leave (I thought it was a perfectly reasonable timescale) and everyone complained and said they didn't think we'd have it done by then. We've got to split it into four (supposedly!) equal bits, so I'll get mine done soon and we'll see if the others manage to get theirs done by the time I get back!

My best mate at work came to see me today too. She's got a 16mth old and her PND has reared it's ugly head again :( Her OH was the one who wanted her to have a baby and now seems to have lost interest, leaving her working 60hrs a week in a stressful job (managing 100+ idiotic middle aged kids!) and coping with a toddler. Just listened and gave her a hug.. don't know what else I can do :(

3 waffles, a nap, 3 more waffles and a rant and I still don't feel much better.. *resists the urge to add in yet another sad face!*
  • Must be the day for it Elle!

Just to make you smile (I hope!) my MIL called hubby early this morning to see if I was okay - she had been awake in the night with tense feelings in her tummy and was convinced that I was having the baby

Hubby called her just before to see how she was and turns out she hasn't been well for most of the day...her tense tummy was more to do with what she had been eating than me having the baby :rotfl:

Aww, bless her! My MIL is psychic (no, really!) so God knows what she's going to do when I go into labour!

How are you doing on the work front? Two days to go.. :D

I just remembered one nice thing which happened today.. My manager went to see my OH and asked him for the details of where we're going on holiday the week after my birthday. I mentioned having a manicure at the beauty place there and she wanted the details so they can get me a voucher for it for my birthday :) OH knew I knew she'd been down to see him so told me straight away what she'd asked - he knows I hate surprises.. plus he had to ask me where we were going!
  • Ooo - and I went out to eat with some friends last night after work and whilst we were there my friends 15 year old son called him to tell him that he had got his 15 year old girlfriend pregnant  poor little dots, they are in complete shock!

Can you imagine going through all this at 15

I am joining and commiserating with the 'I had a pooey day at work today' contingent! I am just going to revel in my misery for a while.

and there is no more Ben and Jerrys in the house or chocolate or crisps so poo to you too!!

I like his style tho, tell them while they are somewhere public so he has time to run away if it sounds like they're gonna kill him!

If Chris told me his got some1 preg at 15 i think I would give him more than a smacked bottom :o god knows what I'd do if I was the girls mum

    You feeling any better? x

I thought I would be fine working til 38 weeks but I have to say it is really taking it out of me now. I can't wait to finish. I am working at the moment actually! I have 8 things left to do on my 'before I go' (plus 2 meetings) list so if I can cross one off tonight then there will be a little bit less pressure on me tomorrow and Thursday. Plus I am at the MW tomorrow morning so I only really have 1 1/2 days left

Bless your boss! One of the girls in the office printed me off a load of papers on Monday and when she gave them to me there was an email in there asking people for donations to my 'leaving to have a baby' fund!! Not that it is a big secret that they will have a collection - there always seems to be one doing the rounds!

OH wondering why I'm laughing at the computer screen. I just googled for some pregnancy problem and the ABC page came up again, I told him I would show him but I'm gonna have to blame you Sami else he's gonna worry about what I'm spending my days doing! :lipsrseal
