  • Hi all,

Not the happiest of bunnies today. Hardly got any sleep with awful hip and pelvic pain and really strong braxton hicks. Scalded my head whilst rinsing conditioner out of my hair when I was in the bath...it really hurt but I was okay but I couldn't stop crying for ages - hubby came in to see what was happening and I was just sat sobbing to myself.

Was working from home this morning and the internet kept cutting out - prompting more tears and making hubby get out of his bath to sort it out (which I could really have done myself).

Then had to go and chair a dipute resolution meeting with loads of argumentative blokes on site (whilst feeling both massive and very fragile at the same time). Got awful back pain in the meeting and convinced myself I was going into labour.

Popped in on BIL and SIL on the way home to be greeted with two massive kisses and cuddles from their boys (7 and 10!!) which cheered me up a bit.

Have been lurking but to be honest nothing has gone in.

    ((HUGS)) to all.

When did that close Weezl? Hubby signed up for a clubcard and joined the parent club to replace my coupon for a free change bag that he lost... Sure he only did it the other night too!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Weezl - i did mine last night!!

Nicki - thanks. This is why I asked for the advice - I know that if I tried to hand my notice in they'd just up my salary and make more promises that they couldn't keep. Our CEO is awful for bulling people up offering the world and not delivering - I was promised to be part of the Senior Management team by December 08 but it never happened. People are probably thinking 'maybe she's not that good at her job - but I am! I have been offered tons of jobs that I've applied for and some I haven't.

I think I know deep down I'll stick at it until Bean is born and then look when I am on mat leave. Maybe I can even wing some fully paid mat leave :rotfl:
    dream on................
I should have left last year but I didn't - I fell for it again!!

    Thanks for the advice
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Glam I'd say go to them now before they kno ur preg and tell them calmly how upset you are about promises not being fulfilled and say you want in writing some guaruntees, once you've got it in writing they can't back down.
Other option would to be apply for other jobs and be upfront about ur preg and what you think you may like to do post baby. If ur as good as u say (Which I'm sure you are) you'll prob get something anyway

on a side note I'd just warn people of my situation, I had offers flying at me pre Chris I'm a very good Administrator  I've turned down numerous jobs in the past and never had any trouble finding jobs but as soon as I had Chris no-one was interested, as soon as they saw I wanted part-time due to having a child I might as well have put I was a leper :mad: oh well I shone bright and doubt I'll ever go back to work now, I'm devoting my life to kids :A
