thanks al for your advice on a csection, i am more worried about being in hospital than having a c section i think.
my husband has got 24 days off from feb 20th and work are letting him have some time off next week, so got support at home.
my other children are 15,11,3 and 4.....my older 2 will help out, my little girl who is 4 is desperate to help with baby, she even made some cakes at the weekend and is saving one for baby:rotfl:
i can have a room at the hospital £60 per night if i wish....
i will let you know how it all goes when i get back from hospital !!!
i keep hoping it will turn to head down0 -
lisabell, i'm so sorry, what an awful thing to happen...take care...0

£60? mmmm that's not bad... I thought it would be a lot more... I might look into having a private room again and just paying for it. Having been in the maternity ward I'd much prefer a private room (last time I got it because they felt that putting me in the "general population" at 6 weeks because of my severe vomiting might be disturbing to everyone else :rotfl: especially as I was up several times to throw up during the night...
The ability to have privacy was nice though and I might well book a room or see if I can decide on the day to have a private room...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

My god, I actually do some work today and you ladies talk for England!
Tara - thats good news, you must be relieved.
Sampainter - Labour vibes if you want them!
Lisa - Hugs to you. I'm sorry I don't know what to say.
To everyone else, I now have loads of things I need to discuss with OH, cutting cord, c-section etc.
I'm on countdown till friday cos I have a week off work next week. Then the week after I have my downs blood test and my 16 week mw appointment. Should be the first time we get the hear bubs heartbeat0 -
Talking of different colours... DH is technically pale blue with him being scottish and many years ago when he was down visiting a friend in London who was black (jamaican) he was woken up in the moring by his VERY jamaican mother shouting up the stairs - "Winston! Get doon here! and bring dat skinny whiiiite boi withcha" - he's been "dat skinny whiiiite boi" ever since :rotfl:
Wherabouts in Scotland is he from, does he have a strong accent?:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
I think a private room here is £90
I'd probably pay if it was £60, I hated being on the ward with DS, all the other babies kept me up all night screaming, whilst DS was mute :j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Hi all.
Just drawn to this thread even though I don't know I'm pregnant I'm just late and want to get it off my chest. I'm 40 and have three boys youngest is 7 this month. I think my last period was 31.12.08 but am wondering if I am mistaken I'm usually regular but occasionally have a blip and am a few days out. I have ordered some preg tests from ebay as I live in a small town and so didn't want to buy at the local chemist and I work at the local Tesco so won't risk buying there either. I will have to wait (kinda scared of knowing anyway so happy to wait really).
Anyway just wanted to get it off my chest maybe joining you girls soon perhaps.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0
