Moving to TalkTalk
Comments

I have been with TT for years now, and with their broadband for about a year, and have never had a problem with them or their service. When I changed over, having been with Tiscali previously over BT, I was without internet for about 2 hours and that was all.
Just my experiences I know, but wanted to add a positive viewpoint0 -
Mir!
I sympathise. I've been there three times myself so understand the frustration, once when I changed to my present ISP and twice with my relative's broadbanb.
Each time however, as well as my pall's move to TT, the problem was of BT's making.
This is why I'm so weary this time - switching both the phone line and broadband - double trouble???.
But this is of no help to you at all.
All I can suggest is that you register on the TalkTalk forum. I've seen problems which have been going on for weeks resolved there in a matter of a few hours if not minutes.
Good luck!
Thanks
Just tried to do this and neither my telephone number nor account number were recognised so I can't join!!!0 -
u can only join/register their forum if you are a customer of talk talk .BSC number 1830

Thanks again for all the useful tips.!:T
Regarding "... extra savings ...", though always handy, particularly in the present situation, what I really resent is having to pay an extra months subs (or other penalty charge) because of some hidden small print.
Post Office is not, for me, an option for two reasons: not LLU and, at present, they do not inspire much confidence.

I hope you'll get your discount!!
By the way, I like your sig. Brilliant.
It reminded me of another quotation which I have now added to my profile. I can not remember who was the clever author and it may not even be accurate but it represents my position exactly.
Mir!
Can I suggest you go there:

Members of the TT forum frequently offer their support there. They may be able to help you register or even help with your other difficulties.
Hope this helps.Best regards
