    It could be absolutely anything. Maybe he has been overdrawn or had a returned item. :confused:

    They base alot of decisions on their own internal scoring systems, don't they.

    Yes the internal score has a big impact.

    Are you going to apply for an account with the Halifax?

    It's better to ring them, as they will give you a instant decision, sometimes online they don't and you have to wait for a decision.

    I am going to do it when my SDG show. I will prob go into a branch and do it.

    Only downside with Halifax is Cif or NID had a letter saying that they do not like / accept more than 15 searches a year on your CF. I have more than that :rolleyes:
