Sub Prime Credit Thread Part II

I opened a TSB Classic account 2 weeks ago. I applied for an overdraft online, was told to ring the number as they want to ask some questions. Phoned them and they said ring back once you've had some transactions going through the account (in a few months).

They don't credit check for overdrafts online I believe.

I have just popped home to see if my card had come through the post, but not today How long does the aqua card take to come through once the pin has been recieved then? does anyone know?

I'll wait for my salary to go through a few times then and a couple of direct debits. I dont need an over draft but do you think it helps having one showing on my credit files?

I just phoned again to ask them to consider it. She popped me on hold, then said 'We haven't seen any salary go into your account. Please can you ring back when we've seen a few payments go in, around 3'.

I don't need an overdraft either really, (got 3 credit cards), it's just something there in case i get short one month.

Only have 1 direct debit left with HSBC. Transferred all the others over to Lloyds TSB. The final one is Optical Express, and they're useless. After sending the change of direct debit form off (my local store sent it), they returned it as the store didn't complete the form.

After shouting at them down the phone, they've changed the direct debit, but it will only take effect next month.

OH took about 3-5 days

Effect it mad because I got declined Aqua & Capital one but accepted for HSBC overdraft..........

I got declined for a HSBC overdraft, but accepted for Aqua, Vanquis and CapitalOne.

I know, its ridiculous......... I want a capital one card resisting applying until my SDG report my accounts.
