sutton when i went into hsbc and spoke to personal banker they looked at it and told me when to apply and i would get accepted.and not to apply then.no search,becuase i had my cra's on me.

As I said to sutton, they see these things day and and day out.

Why did they tell you to wait? Searches?

yes searches.in fairness to the guy after speaking tohim he did try to walk off and have it looked at more.i said ot to worry ill wait the month.seems they wanted to help.

i sound like a broken record banging on about halifax.however i do know how they can be.at the time my o/h credit filesmust have been very poor.
my guess would be ,open current account and loan offer would come within 3 months.

I have decided....... I will wait for my SDG accounts to show on CF then

* Capital one application
* Halifax Application

NO MORE SEARCHES FOR 6 MONTHS

makes good sense.
im waiting for seaches to drop off.
then i will do tesco,virgin,flybe at the same time and go from there.
as some of my accounts pass 12 months ill close them along the way.

Likewise, I have two accounts I want to close but am going to let them report green 0's for another 9 - 12 months......

ive got 6 sdg cats
my littlewoods direct is well over 12 months, so that can go.my cap 1 is nearly 2 years old so that one too.
