I was very naughty today. I realized that yesterday for 3 months since I applied for a BarclayCard Initial, so I applied again today.
Not only was it naughty applying, as I'm trying to limit the searches, but I was even more naughty when I slightly overexagerated on my income.
Still got the 'We need more time', phoned them 5 minutes after applying and they said it still needs to be looked at. Might give them a ring in an hour, see if they've looked at it.
Am I the only 18 year old that has a problem with that apply button? (Might need to go an AA meeting, but the topic being credit lol)0 -

When you say "slightly exaggerated" your income, how much did you exaggerate it by?
Barclaycard are a big user of National Hunter. Be very careful.0 -

I usually put between 7k to 8K on my applications, which includes my income, plus any benefits I receive. On the BarclayCard Initial, I put where I work and then put 9K income.
I switch between part time and full time, as I do part time when I'm at 6th form, and full time over easter break, summer break and any other weeks off I have. I finish 6 form in 4 weeks, which is when I start my new job as a support teacher, which will make my income around 14K, so I should have really waited a month, then put 14K on my application.0 -

Ah, I see.
Did you put down your new employment on your application form?0 -
No, my current employment details.0

Equifax just emailed back telling me they're contacting the organizations who ran multiple searches on me, leaving me with 5/6 searches that I shouldn't have on my file.0
-
Have no idea. I'll give them a ring at 6pm.0
