    I am going go cold turkey and wait 6 -12 months before applying for any new credit.

    Are you saying you applied and got declined? It is very odd for there to be any amount showing on experian? You would normally see something along the lines of

    Name: Paris 500
    Date: 19/04/09
    DOB? Unkown
    Type: Credit / Store Card

    Please ellabortate.

    It does show mate in Experian, it shows next to credit card the amount, mine shows £1500 but I only have paper copies of experian..... will scan tomorrow or summat if no-one has electronic version but it deffo shows the amount of credit mate.

    This is the only reason I mentioned theft, if I misunderstood your comment then I apologies. However, it seems clear when you say your difference is that your dont think people should pay the banks and someone else beleive they should pay their debts that theft comes it to this somewhere.

    Just my personal opinion.

    "for instance Mr P has totally different beliefs to me in that I fight for the consumer and want you guys not to pay the banks whereas he believes that you should pay your debt off."

    If say you were referring to bank charges that are found to be unlawful then I trust you will go through the proper channel to obtain your money bank and simply not pay-up. Two wrongs dont make a right and up until now the banks are making money legally, whereas deciding to take out a debt and not pay it not legal.
