    Just off the phone from Tesco. They need proof of income and my bank statement will not suffice. This means I will have to send in letters from the benefits agencies. Talk about awkward! I just hope I have got the letters to send.

    That's changed it seems Cif.

    When I applied for my Littlewoods Extra account they searched me just once.

    The same for Innocent last night one search for Empire Stores one for Littlewoods.

    Surely it's worth it. Just telephone the DWP and ask for copies of the letters.

    Well I have found a letter from Incapacity Benefits and DLA. Nothing from Housing Benefits or Income Support though. Those offices are closed today due to a Bank Holiday

    So do I after all this faffing around! I don't understand why they could not accept my bank statements as proof of income though. All my credits are clearly listed and where they came from

    Neither do I. You should highlighted them, perhaps they're a little simple.
