  • Heres a question for you all. I was discharged September 2008 from bankruptcy, managed to get £2600.00 finance for a car from a proper finance house APR a bit steep but nothing like Welcome or the other sharks out there. Cooperative bank cashminder all good on the credit file, orange mobile account all good, new account for mobile broadband passed credit check OK . Vanquis application on line declined in 10 seconds flat. They cant have seen the good bits of the creit file. all I want is £250.00 limit to get my score up again. Any ideas??

Appeal with 3 months of bank statements and highlight the good aspects of your Experian file

I opened a parachute account with Bank Of Ireland this morning. It is only a basic one with just a cash card but they don't do any credit search so its good to have as a spare.
