Now you should deffo still go to the FP clinic or GP because it sounds from your symptoms that you could have a hormone imbalance - have you got a Mirena coil or similar? Could be that it's disagreeing with you so maybe you need to seek advice about the alternatives.

Yes, yes and thrice yes! I find that teething blew all our routines ... but they'll settle soon enough, in the meantime, cat nap as much as you can! Big ((hugs)).

DD and I went for a meander to Dunelm Mill to see what fabric there was there, I want to decorate her room, as currently it is a collection of what was left behind by the previous owners. On the way, she insisted on a visit to DFS to try out all the sofas (remember, this girl is 2!), so we spent 20 mins, trying all the sofas, LOL. Salesmen were bemused I think .... ended up "flying" her out of the store! Fabric - seen some very pretty pink fairy material for curtains, so I think I may be brave and make some, need to ensure that they have thick blackout linings though .. clocks change next month .... been there, done that with early mornings wake ups!

Yesterday evening I made some more cloth wipes for DD on my overlocker :) They're not brilliantly neat and I did break 2 needles on the way, but I feel a little more comfortable with it. Today, I'm going to re-thread it to practice a different type of stitch. Just needing inspiration for simple projects at the moment. Although I do need to re-hem the bedroom curtains, so that may well be the next thing to do.

DH came home last night, he didn't want lasagne, so we had take-out of curry, very nice it was too. 2 loads of washing done.

Today, as I had DH in the bed snoring .. I got up "early", well "middle of the night" for me ... 06:45, did my Pilates stretching exercises, made a cuppa, hung load of washing, unloaded DW and dressed by the time DD awoke at 07:15, felt quite civilized as I'd been able to get up in my own time and potter.

Today, is yet another work day ...

    B - Special K
    L - Dunno
D - Lasagne - We WILL eat this thing!!!!
After-dinner - Alcohol, which reminds me I'd best get some chicken out of the freezer for DH to make kebabs!!

Lovely weather here, so nappies currently washing and looking forward to putting them on the line!! Sad aren't I!

    Good morning

Lilibet - I know how you feel; and even though you know those times will pass (after all, whoever had trouble getting a teenage boy to either sleep or cram as much solid food inside himself) it's still very wearing while it lasts.

PP - sorry to hear you had another bad night, hope hospital visit is ok

Hope those of you who feel unwell get better soon

Jo - hope things get sorted out one way or the other

Not got much planned here today, washing is done & waiting to go out. It looks nice outside, if cold. This morning I felt quite dizzy; I don't think I have really recovered from being unwell at the beginning of the week. The house looks a tip, but I haven't got the energy to do anything more than the necessary stuff. I really must try and get things done, perhaps in short bursts a la flylady's 15 minute slots.

    Have a good day

DD3 is off school today - they closed it! there is so much of this sickness bug going through her school that only about 30% of the children turned up on Wednesday! She isn't ill so has an extra day off - plus half term next week!

Off to work in a minute - boss is off all next week on hols HURRAH!!! Piece and quiet. Will be going to Tesco after work today - I too wont make the half term rush next week. Haven't been at all this week - bought a handful of small neccessary bits from the local shop, but saved some money!

Anyway, off to get ready quickly and going.

    See you later

Morning all. Its freezing here today :( Infact I was so cold when I got in from the school run I put a woolly hat, scarf and gloves on! Thankfully I've warmed up a bit now so I'm now free of them but I must have looked a right picture! :rotfl: I think I'll be wearing my baseball cap when I go and pick DD up, wool hats just don't suite me at all and I end up all itchy

I phoned BT yesterday to change some things. I changed from BT Together Option 2 (£42.12 a quarter) to Option 1 (about £33 a quarter) and while I was at it I "checked" our calling package (£4.46 a quarter). Turns out our package was Caller Display so I innocently said "Oh, I heard you do that free now, so can we have it free please?" and the lovely lady said yes :money: That means that instead of paying £46.58 a quarter on service charges, we're now paying just £33 which means that I'll soon be dropping our monthly DD (£30 ATM) and that extra money can go on the credit cards overpayments :j I'm going to go and investigate the other providers (?) where you dial a prefix number first to get cheaper rates ;) I've just been looking back at our calls over the past year or so according to the bills. Nov04 = £41.63, Feb05 = £42.33, May05 = £31.21, Aug05 = £39.72, Nov05 = £28.07 so in theory, even though we have additional Free calls on the majority of those bills, we should be able to keep our bills low by using prefix numbers...I hope! :o

Plans for today are to spend the entire day trying to sort out other little bits and pieces to do with money - especially finding another 0% card since I've just been charged about £20 interest on my current one :o so not really that OS today.

Breakfast : toast with spread/jam and hot cordial
    11's : fruit
Lunch (around 1pm) : ? - pasta or maybe some soup
Tea : Fish Pie with prawns (readers digest cookery year recipe BUT I'm using lots of different tinned fish instead of buying cod so we'll have to see how it goes  )

Off to explore the site :eek:
