Sorry to state the obvious FunkyFairy, but wouldn't it be a good idea to (a) do a home PG test just in case, and (b) see your GP or family planning nurse?

    Evening all!

Got home from work early today to find 2 jobs from a list of 5 done, and the third in progress. Better than yesterdays big fat 0! Once task 3 is completed im going to start making dinner then start chatting about the most important one (get CV done) as I realised something today that I dont think had really sunk in before. Its my goddam house + I pay the bills which = do as I say or live in your car. :D

Had a good day at work today, improvement noticed by boss and more action plans in place. More training to come and more responsibility laid at my feet. Feels wierd to say it, but YIPPEE!! :j Finally on the right track! Some areas still need improvement (which I identified and arent major issues) and once I get the hang of that ill be purrfick! Im also getting another day out of the office soon to visit another branch to pick up some tips and also doing some observations of senior staff which I think will help immensely. :T

Anyway, am starving, off to find a griddle pan for my tuna steaks!

That's great news FunkyFairy (at least I assume from the tone of your posting that it's the news you were looking for :D:D)

Now you should deffo still go to the FP clinic or GP because it sounds from your symptoms that you could have a hormone imbalance - have you got a Mirena coil or similar? Could be that it's disagreeing with you so maybe you need to seek advice about the alternatives.

    Evening all (again!)

Im so impressed with my dinner, tuna is very on my menu's from now on! I also dug out a griddle pan that has been lounging in my loft ever since my freinds came to Ikea with me when they planned to move up here and left their puchases here instead of carting them around - ill have to buy them a new one as its seriously good!

Jo - Do you think your boyfriend "forgets" or just is not bothered.

If you write a list then that would give you a good idea of which it is.

Have you read a book called"He is not just that into you" - one of the things they say is that someone who really cares about you will put you fisrt and want to support you - or at least be a partner.

Sorry to seem mean - big hug.
    - You arent mean!

Ive been moaning a lot recently about the boyf and im coming to the conclusion that he might actually not be bothered as he has been saying he will get a job etc for the last two months and has done absolutley nothing about it. :o He knows the pressure I am under and doesnt seem to react in any useful way. He 'is' supportive in that he has been good about my panic attacks etc and says I should cut down working on Saturdays but without him working it simply isnt possible. Im at a loss as to what to do if im honest, half the time I feel like throwing him out but havent actually said that to him. Maybe I need to think more.... Im off to relax on the sofa.

    Hi Everyone,

I've had a really good OS day today. I took DS into town, topped up my phone with £10 in Boots, and got box of lindt chocs for 99p, and a voucher for Olay face wash (£4.99) for free. Then took DS to playgroup and met my friend and her baby. Went home for lunch and found the post lady had left me a parcel containing two full size bottle of head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner for free. :D.

Have not long put DS to bed, and have decided to ring local school nursery about free place when DS is 3 in August. Hope everyone's day has been okay, and if not hope tomorrow is better for you.

    Best Wishes - Powie

    Hello everyone

It's a late one for me today, didn't have the chance to tickle the keyboard today (or at least browse MSE on the sly). I'm not long in from work, sorting out yet another management blunder which of course only came to light after management had legged it off home.

At lunchtime today I updated my car insurers with my current address. It's a mere £120 pa extra to insure in this area...so not too pleased with that.

JW - I am not exactly wise in the realm of relationships having been chronically single for a long time...but I get the impression that perhaps you need to tell your bf how you feel, especially the bit about how sometimes you wish you could just chuck him out. He's been less than useful to you for quite some time now. While you may remind him (and he ignores) what practical things he needs to do, the effect on your emotions is very significant. I apologise if I am speaking out of turn but from the outside he seems to have regressed to behaving like a child rather than an adult. He needs a good boot up the bum to get him into adulthood. Explaining to him what he is doing to you emotionally perhaps may help him understand that his childlike reliance on you to feed him, house him and look after him is unacceptable. Apologies again if I am poking my nose in where it's not wanted.

    evening all

hugs to all who need them (not even going to pretend I have read all the posts today, or all the threads for last week or so, but hugs all the same if you want one)

not been on here for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages, and have well and truly fallen off the OS wagon, meal planning gone to pot and have been making emergency trips to the 24-hour spar most days due to not getting to Lidl during shop-hours. Which has been really annoying, cos I've been so busy with uni stuff that this is the time when i could really have done with a) having food in the flat, and b) knowing what i was cooking, and stuff being defrosted etc.

But, essays handed in now, so am gonna try to get back into the good ways you good people are getting me into :) Have morning off tomrrow to get some meals planned and some shopping done etc.

But yes, has been madness all round in the life of Hol, lectures, tutorials, meetings, essays, club socials, trips and meetings and Union stuff, just BUSY! Hopefully next few weeks will be bit calmer.

Have a good night all, and good day tomrrow!
