Just had me tea. Ended up having fish, new potatoes, carrots and cabbage. DD doesnt like new pots but took the skin off and she ate them or threatned her with no rolo choc desert for pudding:D im a horrid mum...LOL...."Look at my face.......do I look bothered???" Naaaaa!!!!

Made some easy fork biscuits for DD's lunchbox and they were dead easy to make and took just 12mins and taste basically like shortbread and made 25 biccies. 5 already gone:rolleyes: I actually put them in the oven after it had been turned off but still cooked ok. 1 should be enough for her lunchbox and then she can have one for pud or with a glass of milk.

Really nervous about the morning and being jabbed with several needles and a drip being put in:eek: find out if me clot has gone after 6 months and if not I;ll have to have it removed. Hopefully, its gone!

Anyways, Im gonna go as feeling totally knackered and will sort DD's lunchbox out so it doesnt need to be done in the morning. Will take a sarnie with me too as I hate hospital food...yuk!! DW will be put on in a while and the house is nice and tidy again.

    Have a good evening everyone.

    PP

Late post for me today - had a really busy day at work and didn't sleep too well (that's the 3rd night in a row at least - know that's not much by lots of your standards but is bad for me)

Need to go and do the washing up done now from last night :o as I a bit too into making wedding invites today.

OH is then going to make chicken in uncle bens which was on BOGOF in sainsburys the other day and I want to get the dry washing off the airer and try and write a shopping list I think.

Right must go - OH keeps staring at me with nagging eyes to make me wash up :o

Happy birthday birthday girlies, hugs to kiwichick and will be thinking about you tomorrow PP, hope your hospital trip goes ok.

:j Hello everyone and thank you all for your birthday wishes .I have been thoroughly spoilt and had lots of lovely pressies from my two girls and their children I had some really nice books (the Alan Bennett that I was hoping for, was one of them):j Also some great CD's and lots of smellies and really useful bits that I wouldn't go out and treat myself to. Bargain RzL, I really am getting on a bit, but my lovely grandson Danny, who is the light of my life say's
"Age is just a number Nan, like on your front door" bless him he hasn't been well today, he's got the dreaded lurgy bug that is going the rounds at the moment, so he couldn't come and have some cake with the rest of the tribe ,but we sent him a big chunk home with his Mum. The cake was to die for and I think I have put on about five pounds today as I was treated to lunch as well as dinner tonight. :D
I have an old friend coming to visit me tomorrow, and we are going out to lunch, so that will be even more munchies .Good job I only have a birthday once a year. I am errrm shall we say over 60 but not yet 70 so there's still a bit of life in the old girl yet.;)
I even had a good report from my tutor about my law coursework so all in all it's been a great day all round. I hope evryone here has as good a day as me tomorrow and thanks again for all your good wishes
Cheers, Jackie in Kent . I'm off for a G&T

Not much sleep here and am feeling very cold and headache is back-must drink more today! Have put the gas fire on in lounge for an hr and then will put a cardigan on, already have pj's and a thermal t-shirt on:eek:

WM isnt on..LOL, not enough washing to go in, but need to wash DD's bedspread today, so will be on later and dried out side to make clean fresh smell last longer:D DW needs emptying (OH will do when he gets up), toilet cleaned. House is pretty clean and tidy and just a few small things need doing today. Mission of the day is to clean out bathroom cupboard and dye my hair if possible.

DD's lunchbox is done and she loves the fork biscuits I made on tuesday, think some more wil be made later. I used butter on tuesday and even using this they worked out about 75p for 25 biccies or something silly like that.

OH has more of his OU course to do today. Ive nearly completed my 1st TMA and it doesnt have to be in till beginning of March, so am very pleased about that-probably completely cocked it up..LOL.

Have no appointments today, so will rest up and do some reading me thinks. All I want to do is the bathroom cupboard and dye me hair. My OH's mate turned up last night and he finished off the lamb stew. He is dropping of 2 black bags of clothing he no longer wants (works in the city and only does FCUK, Ted Baker, Fossil and all other posh designers) so hopefully OH may get a couple of items and the rest will go on ebay-he suggested this not me....LOL I said I'd give him the money, but he just said that he was going to dump at local charity shop and would prefer us to have the money.

Anyway, Id best be off as tummy rumbling, will catch up later.

    Breakie:Cereal/Toast and OJ
    Lunch:Baked Spud
Dinner: Thai Chicken Curry & Rice

Hope everyone is well and hugs to all those that need on.

    Morning!

Not much to say tbh as all my days could pretty much be the same day over and over again!. Im going to do Tuna steak for dinner this evening though with some seaweed sheets and veg rice, so boyf can like it or lump it. I got home from work yesterday and he had done absolutely nothing - he just sits at home playing on the computer and the cat everyday living the life of goddam riley, having a nice lie in, having a nice drink every now and again, and doesnt even bother to feed himself except for crisps and moans when dinner isnt quite ready yet. Ill be leaving him a note this morning to do some cleaning and get a bloody job.

Anyway, sorry to moan, im just tired and want some time off work so I can relax and do what I want to do and I never get that luxury anymore - its time he joined me in it quite frankly!

    Have a good day all!

    Jo xx
