    Morning all,

A late post from me yesterday, an early one today! LOL!

Not sure what today brings, shall take it as it comes, it's just DD & I today. We do need to go and get DD some new slippers and wellies, cos no matter how well I hide them, she finds them .... her feet are getting squished!

Freecycle ... I spotted something I really would have liked off a local freecycle group, e:mailed the person, but no response after 3 days...... what's the protocol? Hmmm....

Time for Noddy, milk and raisins ... life is simple!

    Morning all
Ds2's b'day here -is 9 and has a new gameboy. He's well-chuffed,unfortunately ds1 is throwing a strop because ds2 has been given 2 games for it and we only gave ds1 1 game with his gameboy in July.Apparently 'he always gets better stufff'.Ooops, forgot we'd got 1 game for ds1 -the one ds2 wanted was very cheap so we added another one -big mistake.

Off to do packed lunches and breakfast.

Think ds1 has cheered up a bit ;)

    'Morning everyone :hello:

Started doing daily exercises in an effort to keep fit. Now done a total of 2 mornings - I'm hoping that the old addage of 'doing something for 7 days becomes a habit' works. Just five more days to go and I'm hoping I've formed a useful habbit for once.

Work as usual today. Salad all packed for lunch. Tonight we are having farmer's market sausages (to die for!), mash and leeks. I'm taking chocolate muffins in to work today for everyone as a treat - spent last night making them and trying not to pinch extra bits of chocolate for myself.

The 'if things get tough' thread is making really interesting reading at the moment, so I keep popping back to read that.

Have a lovely OS day everyone :D
Enjoying an MSE OS life :D
  • hi everyone. another busy day today, wm on, stew in slow cooker, then dd reminds me she's out for tea, grrrr, but rest of it'll freeze, parents evening at school tonight, plus the round trip to collect from brownies, so it'll be late when i get in anyways. have so far finished 8 nearly empty bottles in my use it up challenge, bathroom looks tidier already, plus all the half used bottles aren't falling over in bottom of the shower, lol.
    breakfast - fruit salad
lunch - baked potato i think
    tea - stew
tonight determined to get to bottom of ironing pile, whilst watching tv probably, and to have a go at another kitchen cupboard. decided to try and make a list of what i have in before next shop that can be used up, and doing one cupboard a night so its not such a big job. off for a day at work now, big hugs to everyone who needs them

    love
    woas.

    Good morning all!! :hello:

Good night's sleep last night (2nd night in a row!) DS2 woke up around 5.55am, then lay in bed with us for 20 minutes or so. Finally got up around 6.15am!

We're all washed/showered and dressed. Sandwiches are made for packed lunches-just got to put other bits in lunchbags (fruit etc.)

DW not yet full, so will leave this until later. Will put WM on before I go to work.

Got to do nursery/school run then be in work for 9.30. My change in hours have finally been agreed, which means that, when I go back after A/L next week - I'll only be working 3 days per week, with the occasional extra day to make up my hours. Yippee!!!!!!

Must go - teeth to clean, bags to pack etc..

    Have a great day everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Morning everyone,
Very quiet here at the moment, just my 2 and me, got 2 little ones later, but not til after 9, so thats nice for a change. Going to the local nurseries with one of the mums this morning, as her little one is now 3, and she wants to find her a place for me to take her too, once she qualifies for a free place (i think in April). Then need to get some shopping, dont need to do a big shop, just some fresh stuff and flour, so will prob pop over to Waitrose, Tescos is over the bridge, so a bit of a treck and i dont fancy that today, especially after yesterdays upset with the car locking itself.
No washing to do, but need to empty DW and clean bathroon, so will do that when i get back.
Glad everyone (so far) seems to be haveing better nights, you must let me know your secrets!!!!
Take care, hope everyone has a good one xxxxxxxxxxxx

    Morning everyone,
hope everybody has a good day today.it's my birthday today so I am feeling quite chipper and I'm off to college this morning to tackle law torts but am going to my youngest daughters for tea with my tribe of 7 grandchildren where I hope to be suitably spoilt with my daughters HUGE chocolate cake that she makes for everyone in the family when it's your birthday. It has almost an inch of chocolate covering and is about a million calories but hey it's only on special days.
I don't intend to do ANY housework or cooking or even think about it until tomorrow so I hope everyone has as good a day as I hope to have.
    Cheers everybody
