Keep on going out, it gets easier. I'm so pleased you've managed a couple of trips so far, well done:kisses:
Thanks hun, and Pooky :A
It certainly feels very strange actually buying things physically instead of online, but it also blows my budget right out the water as I'm a terrible impulse shopper
Trouble is, if I was to actually plan a trip and make a list to take etc, I'd end up worrying so much about having to go then that I'd talk myself out of it, so when I get the sudden urge to go out I don't really have much idea of what I'm going for and end up buying things I don't necessarily need
I guess it will get easier in time though so I can start to do a little forward planning and stick to my budgets"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

will come back to you three times as strong!

Good morning all OSers!!!
Last official day of half term today (yippee!!) although they have a teacher training day on Monday aswell!
DS2 off to nursery soon, then off into Brum to go to 'Thinktank' with DS1. Have done sandwiches, just need to grab some extra bits, to save me having to spend too much money (I imagine the parking alone will be v. expensive!)
Hopefully later will pop to bank to pay in 'loose change' to kids savings accounts - around £20 each! My parents have also given us some that they've been saving (£50 each!) My kids have more in the bank than we do!!
Shepherd's Pie for tea tonight.
Need to put WM on. Did all my ironing yesterday (whilst watching The Brits) so should be able to relax a bit tonight!
Hope everyone has a good day!!20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Well after deciding on Tuesday that I was going to start posting on here every day again, someone went an pulled out of me at a junction and wrote both his and my car off in the process
I've only been driving since November and this has really shaken me up. I've got a hire car at the moment, but can't really drive it because I can't turn my neck properly. My boyfriend is working away next week, so I'll have to drive myself to work. To be honest I'm really nervous now and don't want to get back behind the wheel. _pale_
On a positive note I've had a couple of days off, so have had the chance to sort out money, do a bit of meal planning and have a general tidy up. I'm in a bit of pain around my neck and shoulders, but I've got so many painkillers that once I've taken all of them I feel ok really
Am going to put a chicken casserole in the slow cooker for tea tonight to treat my lovely boyfriend for taking the day off to look after me when I had my crash. He's a star :smileyhea :happyloveComping Challenge

Morning All,
A late posting for me today as dh is working from home so I have jumped onto the PC whilst he's at the GP-really bad back spasms since the car accident.
A kids birthday party to go to today, 4.30-6.30pm. A nice late one which hopefully means I can get the kids to have a late afternoon nap and then go to the party. They will run about like mad'uns and still be tired when we get home.CQ-CONGRATS ON YOUR MARKET TRIP, YOU OUGHT TO BE PROUD OF YOURSELF!!!!Nowt to do around the house today except for the never ending pile of laundry, may try and get the beds stripped.
Off for a late brekkie now, made POSHPAWS mummy bread and it is DELISH so am having that with honey for brekkie today.
:grouphug: to you starlorna22, dont let this idiot force you off the road, you worked hard to pass, dont let him take that away from you.
Have a good day all,

Ok just wrote a massive message and then DD grabbed at the laptop and deleted it so I'll try again
CQ: Way to go, I'm sure that as you slowly get your house finished your MH will just get better and better.
Pooky hope the kids are ok now we seem to be having and accident a day at the moment with DD learning to walk.
Was supposed to go swimming but SIL cant make it so I'm just going to go out and do some chores instead. Then its back to do the housework. Going to put the WM on in a minute and the BM as well, need to boil some rice so it will be nice and dry so I can stirfry it for tea tonight with prawn and spring onions.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
morning
starlorna22, don't let this put you off. I passed my test last April after quite a few attempts. Car written off end of Oct last yr. It did shake my confidence a bit. But in a bizarre way it helped me cos although I was very road aware I am even more so now. Hope you are ok. Make sure you go to the docs & get your neck checked out & put on your medical notes.
I have already been out today. My dd (6) is refusing to poo. lovely. So been to the docs. He won't give laxatives yet so told me to get syrup of figs. I have managed to get that down her throat! Also have given her some grapes & OJ. We have upped her fibre & liquids recently as well. Hopefully she will go, he felt her tummy & said she was def constipated.
Today I shall mostly be ironing. It has overtaken my house, How do you all keep on top of it?
Then I have work this evening.
B- toast (eaten!)
L/d (cos of work!) egg & chips
Have been paid today as well!
Don't think I need to go to the shops but if I do I shall pop inot Tesco after work cos I hate taking the kids. Going in the chemist earlier was a nightmare cos DS wanted a book. They have loads of books & toys in the chemist, arrgghh. Cue, one massive 3 year olds tantrum!!!
Take care all

i've never posted on the daily boards before but today is a much better day than yesterday (for anyone who didn't see my stupidity on another thread yesterday, i thought it was wednesday for most of the day!). made a vat of ratatouille last night that should last the weekend, even with the BF coming up for the weekend and needing feeding.
hope everyone has a good day - it's nearly the weekend:happyhear0 -
Morning all
:grouphug: to all who need them
only 4.5hrs to go then I am on holiday for a week - yay
Been wakened since 5am this morning - think I have had too much sleep over the last couple of nights.
it is a beautiful day here today so washing was hung out before coming to work, DW emptied and started to fill again, cats tray cleaned, cats fed, rubbish put out and kitchen worktops cleaned.
B - toast and pate
L - ?? from Greggs
D - remains of Indian from last night - have 2 nan breads to eat as they brought the wrong one the first time (Garlic and Cheese) when it should have been Garlic and Chilli .
done quick reccy in Freezer last night and reckon I could make another weeks worth of dinners , toad in the hole, currys, couple of pasta based dishes - so defrost might have to wait till later next week.
Better go and do some work now - usually running about daft making sure everyone knows what to do next week when I am on hols
Have a lovely day all
Take care
