I must have a particularly good SD near me. If it's something I'm obviously buying for a child they have always told me that I can't get a refund if it doesn't fit or it's not liked.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Personally I will never shop there again, Purchased 2 Badminton Rackets made by Dunlop (which i have now found out on this topic are owned by SD), played 4 games with them and during the fourth game one of the rackets handles snapped off in mid-air, I took it back to the Broadstairs Westwood Cross Store and explained what happened and the manager "Emerald" basically called me a liar and inferred that I had thwacked it against the floor and that's why the racket broke, I was quick to point out there were no marks or dents whatsoever on the actual racket which would have happened if that were the case. But she just was apparently an expert on wood stress and deduced it an impossibility, I offered to bring in 3 witnesses from the sports center I play at but she declined, I did however love the fact that the original girl who was helping me (who was just covering herself by asking the manager about my case) offered me a complaint form as I think she knew "Emerald" was being unreasonable. I went elsewhere an bought a new racket.0

There is no statutory right to a refund. You were fortunate to get a voucher and I hope there is another item which meets your requirements.
I had a similar experience with a shoe shop, Andrew Begg. I don't shop there anymore."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Why did I not check out Sports Direct on here before I bought my son a tracksuit there for christmas?!
I bought it on 28 November, I kept the original packaging just in case it was the wrong size - I ordered him a medium size but he needs a large one. I intended to just post it back to them (at my expense) for exchange but it looks like as I did not do so within 7 days I now cannot do this.
I contacted SD with the online form 3 days ago and got no response. I have just tried calling them on the numbers listed here and not one (including the 0870) numbers go through:mad:
Any suggestions? - (the tracksuit was £45):eek:0 -
Sell it on ebay and go buy him another in a larger size."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

i know they can be bad but i had a very good experience with them...in fact i was shocked as to how good they were.
I bought a rucksack and stupidly didnt test the zips in the store. I used it for work and on the first day found that one of the zips kept sticking and i had to stick my fingers into the pocket to get it apart.
I took it back to the store after a night shift and guess what....they couldnt get the zip to stick.
I asked the manager if i could at least swap it as i didnt have time to come back if it started again. they didnt have any in stock so i said its ok i will just take it home...
the manager looked at me and said if I wanted i could have a refund as that would be a shame if it happened again....
very very shocked!!0 -
The web contact form for Customer Service doesnt work. The code given for tracking the package has been rejected. They promise to answer emails within 5 working days by which time the delivery - and all its problems - have already passed. So much easier to order from Kettlebell Seminars who handled an order brilliantly.0

Maybe I've just been lucky with SD but I ordered 2 pairs of trainers for the best fit. Delivered the very next day.
I sent back the unwanted pair and was refunded four days later.0 -
