I would ask them for a copy of the signature and if you're satisfied that it is no-one from your house then send them a Letter Before Action giving them 14 days to provide a refund or you will take them to small claims court.
The misdelivery may be a problem with the delivery company, but any issues after that are solely down to Sports Direct.0 -
I remember my last purchase from SD online, 2 pairs of while trainers - recived in good time, one pair was alfel and sun bleached yellow on one side as if they had been in a shop window, the other pair were the wrong style - in black! How can they get it so wrong? What makes me wonder if when packing, someone must have seen the shoes were wrong and also damaged but they decided to post them anyway.
Will not use them again.0 -
You can get an exchange or a credit note. It explains above their tills. Manage your expectations when you shop in SD !0

I have worked for SD for nearly four years now and it does not look after their part-time staff which they rely on, however what they do is very profitable.
after reading some of these comments i am appalled at what people think of the workers "Monkeys" and "School leavers"...all you have to remember WE DO NOT MAKE THE RULES i have been on the end of some very rude customers. i am not saying every worker there is perfect because there are some arrogant people there, but the way i see it treat people on how you would like to be treated. if a customer is rude to me yes i will help but don't expect it to be efficient or quick however if a customer is polite i will help them as much as i can and make sure they get the best service possible.
just think people who do work there are human-beings and do deserve respect some people are D**ks but you can easily work them out from others. i dont normally right on these but because of people dis-respectful comments to workers it had annoyed me and i wanted to share my opinion on customers who come into the shop.0 -
I have to say I've been in SD where this poor girl was getting shouted at by a member of public, the girl was polite throughout. I even asked the member of public to stop speaking to her like that (I know I should kept out of it)
SD do many there policies quite clear, in fact you cannot miss them. Not saying its right or wrong, its just a choice you make.0 -
Just got back from a visit to Sports Direct at Bentley Bridge, Wolverhampton (Wednesfield). Was absolutely disgusted to witness that a poor customer who was obviously unwell and had unfortunately vomited on the floor near the tills and then left the shop was the subject of open ridicule by the till staff (commenting on the smell, etc.). As if that was not bad enough they each refused to clean the said vomit and instead stated that the customer should have been made to clean it up! These untrained, rude and self-centred individuals have no sense of service or respect towards others. I concede that they might be on minimum wages but still, if you can't be sensitive towards people in a service industry then find another job! I was upset by their ignorant attitudes so I asked to speak to the store manager and asked him if requesting sick customers to clean up their own vomit was store policy and he (flat voiced, dead eyed) denied that this was. Never mind the quality of the goods, the quicker these heartless idiots receive some training in customer care the better.0

Oh Dear...can anyone spot anything wrong with this post?...no prizes!0 -

I bought some items from their website and wanted to refund some of them to store. They say we will refund your money into gift card only.
As per my understanding, due to distance selling law we are entitled to return any item and full refund should be given in this case.
I have got this with other retailers like Comet, Curry etc.. Then how come Sport Direct does not follow the same?
Can this law be over ruled by company policy?0 -
The DSRs which cover this situation cover selling at a distance. You should receive a full refund if you send them back. Taking them back into store is not the same thing.Thinking critically since 1996....0
